assure white folks, especially white men, that they---we---are just better than those---you know---THOSE people. They reenforce white privilege and tell us it's OK to be bigots and racists. And, since hate and stereotypes are easier---take less thought and effort---than love and tolerance, lazy white people vote for these miscreants because "they think like me!"

They don't think like me. My Mama raised me right.
