WASHINGTON — It’s going to take months to kick elite hackers widely believed to be Russian out of the U.S. government networks they have been quietly rifling through since as far back as March in Washington’s worst cyberespionage failure on record.
Experts say there simply are not enough skilled threat-hunting teams to duly identify all the government and private-sector systems that may have been hacked. FireEye, the cybersecurity company that discovered the intrusion into U.S. agencies and was among the victims, has already tallied dozens of casualties. It's racing to identify more.
“We have a serious problem. We don’t know what networks they are in, how deep they are, what access they have, what tools they left,” said Bruce Schneier, a prominent security expert and Harvard fellow.

"The FDA said there were seven “serious adverse events” in the trial, but none of them was fatal. Four were attributed to the vaccine by trial investigators and Moderna, including intractable nausea and vomiting, facial swelling and rheumatoid arthritis."
Has anyone else found this info anywhere?
I am very pro-vaccine, but will stand by my initial response to the concept of chumputin's coopted CDC & the resultant vaccine development & roll out: NOT HAPPENING HERE.
I will wait for Pfizer's vax! And drive to a sane state to get it, if need be.
TN is not planning to get anymore Pfizer vaccines! Only Moderna's. Coincidence? I think not.
I am well aware of the nightmare created by the Gulf War vaccines military personnel were forced to take & I will not be victimized by chumputin in this manner! 🤬

Does anyone have info on quality UVC devices for personal use?
Looking at "portable, hand-held" units on Amazon, but want one with a strong enough light to be effective. Also would prefer one that the bulb can be replaced in & a good value for a reasonable price.

Since then, thousands of doses have arrived in those states.
In Tennessee, where the number of coronavirus cases is skyrocketing, neither hospitals nor the state have administered a single dose.

This week Microsoft took a series of dramatic steps against the recent SolarWinds supply chain attack. In the size, speed and scope of its actions, Microsoft has reminded the world that it can still muster firepower like no one else as a nearly-overwhelming force for good.
Through four steps over four days, Microsoft flexed the muscle of its legal team and its control of the Windows operating system to nearly obliterate the actions of some of the most sophisticated offensive hackers out there. In this case, the adversary is believed to be APT29, aka Cozy Bear, the group many believe to be associated with Russian intelligence, and best known for carrying out the 2016 hack against the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
While details are continuing to emerge, the SolarWinds supply chain attack is already the most significant attack in recent memory. According to SolarWinds, Microsoft, FireEye, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) the attackers compromised a server used to build updates for the SolarWinds Orion Platform, a product used for IT infrastructure management. The attackers used this compromised build server to insert backdoor malware into the product (called Solorigate by Microsoft or SUNBURST by FireEye).
According to SolarWinds, this malware was present as a Trojan horse in updates from March through June 2020. This means any customers who downloaded the Trojaned updates also got the malware. While not all customers who got the malware have seen it used for attacks, it has been leveraged for broader attacks against the networks of some strategically critical and sensitive organizations.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to visit Memphis on Thursday to discuss the development and distribution of the COVID-19 vaccines, according to his office.
Memphis is home to shipping giant FedEx, which is helping in the national vaccine distribution.
Pence will participate in an afternoon roundtable discussion, which will include Republican Gov. Bill Lee.
Tennessee health officials say the state is expecting to receive 56,550 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine in its first allocation in mid-December.
