StarfishSaver's JournalBrian Williams and Peter Baker are talking how the Russians targeted Kamala in the primaries
Interesting
For those keeping score at home, a DNC speaking slot opened up today
Kamala Harris was scheduled to speak on Thursday night before Biden. But now she'll be speaking in the slot set aside for the VP Acceptance Speech.
So that leaves room for another primetime speaker.
Any thought on who it might/should be?
Or maybe they can show.a video -
Or they can have a Macarena break (bonus points to anyone who remembers which convention that was ...)
Every Democrat in America today (and a few Republicans, too)
Black women everywhere today ...
Truth about Joe:
https://twitter.com/dfsparks/status/1293320452274679809Joe "I ain't ever had a white running mate" Biden.
Every black person I know is losing their effing minds right now
In a good way.
Not only is Kamala the right pick on paper - she's smart, experienced, progressive, ready to be president, etc. But she'll energize and inspire black voters, as well as many others, in a way that few other people could.
On Edit: it was just brought to my attention that this is my 10,000th post! How appropriate that this is the milestone!!!
It's KAMALA!!!
I'm pretty certain we'll know who the VP selection by tonight
1. If Biden informed staff and advisers of the pick, he's not going to allow much time to pass and increase the likelihood of leaks.
2. The media is doing a full-on "any minute now" watch - likely because they've been alerted by the campaign that an announcement's imminent.
CNN: Biden's made his pick
https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/11/politics/biden-vp-pick/index.htmlAnd if he's told advisers and campaign staff, he'll announce it soon since he's not going to leave a lot of time for leaks
The PRELIMINARY DNC schedule does not tell us who the VP nominee is
Please stop assuming that Kamala Harris listed as speaking on Thursday night means she is or isn't the nominee. Or that Rice and Demings not being listed as speakers means that one of them is the nominee.
This is a PRELIMINARY schedule and tells us nothing about who the nominee will be. When the nominee is chosen, the schedule will be revised.
You should note that in 2008 the preliminary schedule showed Joe Biden speaking on Wednesday evening a couple of slots before the VP nominee. Obviously, That didn't mean that he wasn't the nominee. When he was picked, the schedule was revised to list him as speaking in the VP slot.
The speculation about Biden's selection based on a preliminary DNC schedule is really a waste of time.
