Call the 8 "iffy" Dem and GOP senators

I thought Mueller wasn't going to do anything big before the midterms.
That is what everyone was saying, isn't it? I guess Mueller is pretty unpredictable, even to the experts "familiar with the unspoken rules of conduct".
No pardons for Manafort.
MSNBC had an attorney on and explained that Mueller has pretty much made this impossible. It wouldn't benefit the moron in the long run. Also, states CAN still get Manafort for the crimes without doing double jeopardy and state crimes can't be pardoned by the fucking moron. Manafort will not get his property and assets back (maybe used to pay for the investigation eventually) but he will get protection for his family and less jail time.
Manafort is making a plea deal with Mueller
but no details about the agreement so far. Ari Melber is discussing this now. Too early to get too excited but it is something. Guiliani said tRump and Manafort are in cahoots. What are they up to?
Murkowski's Anchorage office phone mailbox was full
and her DC office phone line had me on hold for 5 min. I have the feeling Alaskans are not too happy with Kavanaugh being a SCOTUS pick. Rachel Maddow just reported that the only Washington Bureau reporter in Anchorage was fired today. I wonder what is going on up there?
Please keep calling the 8 GOP and Dem senators who are "iffy". RESISTANCE WORKS! Here is the contact info for their local offices and the DC directory is (202)224-3121 Look at the link at the bottom of this post.
*The staffers have been nice to me and only one has asked if I am a constituent. I got an idea to pretend how to be a constituent and takes 3 min to do...just google "Zillow homes for sale in so and so city and so and so state". Just type in Anchorage, Alaska for example. You get an address and zip. Your cell phone number can be from anywhere. I have done this literally hundreds of times and it works.
It takes two more min to call...easy as can be. No excuse NOT to do this. There is time left and we can effect this outcome...JUST DO IT! And don't be a Dems Party defeatist! No Dem Party poopers allowed!
OUR COUNTRY IS WORTH IT!

Question for Texans: How did Cruz become such
a huge GOP figure as a senator in such a short time? Is it because he was such a prominent ass in the Tea Party/Freedom Caucus?
I have been calling Murkowski about SCOTUS
nominee Kavanaugh(among other senators both GOP and "iffy" Dems). Today when I called her, the 3rd time in a week, the local Anchorage phone mail box was full and the DC office had me waiting to speak with someone for over 5 min while I was forced to listen to "From the Halls of Montezuma..." on a loop. This is good news. People are calling. I am not from Alaska but have been calling anyway and this is the first time the mailbox was full.
This means That people ARE calling. Please call too. RESISTANCE WORKS!

Call/write to Gov Brown sign SB 100 (Clean Energy).
http://www.latimes.com/politics/la-pol-ca-renewable-energy-goal-bill-20180828-story.htmlI just returned from the Rise for Renewable Energy/CLIMATE CRISIS rally and one of the speakers helped get SB100 written. Now we are urging Californians to contact Gov Brown to sign it before he leaves office. We will be one of the first states to have 100% renewable energy.
"The bill, which would require California to obtain 100% of its power from clean sources by 2045, has been debated by lawmakers for nearly two years as it faced cost and feasibility concerns. This week, high-profile state and national politicians gave the cause a push by arguing the plan would strengthen Californias leadership on the environment."
In addition to the 2045 target, Senate Bill 100 would also require electric utilities and other service providers to generate 60% of their power from renewable sources by 2030, up from the current 50% goal set for that date.
The bill now heads to the Senate for a vote. If it is signed by the governor, California would become the second state in the U.S. to rely solely on clean energy by 2045. Hawaii was the first to implement such a plan."

CLIMATE CRISIS PROTESTS TOMORROW
in the US and around the world. RISE FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE!🌡☀️🔥🌩🌊
"People worldwide will mobilize this weekend under the banner of Rise for Climate, a grassroots movement seeking a fossil fuel free world.
More than 600 events are planned in at least 80 countries, with one of the key aims to challenge the decision-makers attending the Global Climate Summit in California on September 12 to escalate decarbonization efforts and targets.
The flagship event in San Fransisco will be the largest climate march the US west coast has ever seen, according to organizers. Nationwide, community groups are finding innovative ways to urge a future in which all energy sources are 100% renewable, including an initiative asking participants to share artworks related to the movement."
This September, cities, states, businesses and civil society from around the world are gathering in California for the Global Climate Action Summit.
The Summit has invited every mayor, governor, and business leader in the world to make a bold climate commitment to help the world reach the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Plan or join an event on September 8. If your elected officials commit, your rally can be a celebration. If they fail to act, it's a chance to hold them accountable.
