This month feels like it started 3 years ago.

Today is the last day of the month - March 897th. Damn, this has been a long month.

I usually come up with some good pranks for April Fools, but this year, I've really got nothing. Just feel as though our world is adrift at sea, with no sign of where we're going, and no sign of where we've been.

A hobby of mine is writing screenplays. It's purely just a hobby. The 3-act structure, in short, is (1) plan for change, (2) experience change and adapt, and (3) resolution. A few weeks ago, I saw that as an analogy for the pandemic. I felt as though we were in the first act, and we'd know when we entered the second act when we started thinking "It is what it is."

We're there. It is what it is, for as long as it's gonna be. We've gotta be safe and smart every day.

I remember going out to eat for the first time after the towers came down. It was five days after. Sitting in a sports bar, TV's still on the news. Three tables over, I heard a couple of people laugh. Mentally and emotionally, it was like a time lapse of a seedling coming up from the ground. One of those things you just remember.

I know life will get back to normal. I also know it'll be a new normal, in ways we don't yet understand or anticipate.

I just hope the calendar flips a little quicker then.

Trumpland - where every day is April Fools.

This country could use a leader right now who deals in facts and hope, not lies and pettiness.

So life begins in the womb and ends at a bad economy.

CDC approves scarves as masks for healthcare workers.

Minutes later, Amazon completely ran out of scarves.

The first part is true, though. Wtf?

Contactless credit cards

It hit me while I was checking out of a drug store - I had just a couple of items in my hand. Turned the UPC code so she could scan them while I held them. Didn't need the receipt. The only physical contact with the store was doing my credit card.

Just called my credit card companies, and asked for replacement cards with the contactless feature built in.

Their contact numbers on on the back of each card. One took 3 minutes, the other I was on hold 10 minutes. Able to keep the same number, too.

A 3 year old child has more wisdom and common sense than Senate republicans.

How old do you have to be to know playing with fire might hurt you?

"Take her out"...

I suppose Trump-humpers take that to mean dinner and a movie?
