Traitor Trump: There's "a lot of love" behind Putin's efforts to make "his country larger."

Trump Says 'Lot of Love' Behind Putin Wanting to 'Make His Country Larger'

Trump discussed the conflict during an appearance on Fox News host Jeanine Pirro's radio show Sunday. He said he believes Putin's ultimate goal is to eventually rebuild the Soviet Union, and he went on to explain what he believes to be Putin's mindset.

"You say, what's the purpose of this? They had a country. You could see it was a country where there was a lot of love and we're doing it because, you know, somebody wants to make his country larger or he wants to put it back the way it was when actually it didn't work very well," Trump said.

Some critics, however, took issue with Trump's use of "a lot of love," pointing to the widespread destruction and thousands of casualties the invasion has caused in Ukraine.

40-mile Russian convoy to face minus 20-degree temperatures, turning tanks into refrigerators.

Arctic air moving through Russia and Ukraine will combine with an easterly wind to make the temperature feel as cold as minus 20 by Wednesday, according to forecasts.

Russian troops are expected to find these conditions tough as they remain stuck in a column around 20 miles outside of the Ukrainian capital that has barely moved since last week.

"A metal tank is just a fridge at night if you are not running the engine," said Glen Grant, a senior defense expert at the Baltic Security Foundation

To end this war, Donald Trump should move to Ukraine and make the following statement:

Hi Vlad, this is Don, your best mate. Remember me? I'm the orange one with hair that looks like a fox nested on my head. Yes, that one.

I think you are a genius with what you have done, and everyone says so. You have shown your masculinity like the world have never known.

But here's the problem now. I'm in Ukraine, and I'm hanging out with some of your oligarchs--great bodies, by the way--and if you keep attacking Ukraine, you might hit me and your mates, who frankly respect you almost as much as me.

So, after marching your soldiers to the top of the hill. please march them back down and send them home, then when this is all over, we can hang out in the shower together again in your palace, but let's not do the pee tapes this time.

Your humble servant,

Donald Trump

Marco Rubio and Steve Daines put their vanity before the safety of Zelenskyy during video call

Two Republican senators are facing backlash after tweeting photos of a video call with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy even though participating lawmakers were told to not share pictures to social media while it was in progress.

Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida and Steve Daines of Montana posted pictures of Zelenskyy to their Twitter accounts during the Zoom meeting Saturday morning, writing that they were on a call with him.

Democratic Reps. Dean Phillips of Minnesota and Jason Crow of Colorado criticized the senators on Twitter.

Phillips noted that the "Ukrainian ambassador very intentionally asked each of us on the Zoom to NOT share anything on social media during the meeting to protect the security of President Zelenskyy."

"Appalling and reckless ignorance by two U.S. Senators," Phillips wrote.

"The lack of discipline in Congress is truly astounding," Crow wrote. "If an embattled wartime leader asks you to keep quiet about a meeting, you better keep quiet about the meeting. I’m not saying a damn thing. Lives are at stake."

This guy has put a big Russian oligarch target on his back after revealing his ID and location.

Jack Sweeney first attracted public attention after starting a Twitter account devoted to tracking Tesla founder Elon Musk's private plane. Now the teenage college student has a new pet project involving another set of billionaires: publicizing the movements of private jets owned by Russian oligarchs.

"It would be pretty cool to see one of their planes seized," Sweeney, 19, told CBS MoneyWatch in discussing his Twitter account, @RUOligarchJets, or Russian Oligarch Jets.

Sweeney, a first-year student at University of Central Florida, said the account is based on an algorithm he developed that taps publicly available records of jet ownership and flight data to track about 30 private jets belonging to Russian oligarchs.
