The Polack MSgt

Ya know what, as much as people were mad that in 1989 Jethro Tull won
the 1st ever Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Grammy, I am ok with it.
I was ok with it back then too. Crest of the Knave is a badass album
Listen, Metallica was great and all, but I haven't cracked open And Justice For All in a decade.
And sorry Metallica heads, but the truth is Janes Addiction has a better reason to be angry than Metallica does.
Nothings Shocking was better than either of the Tull or Metallica records in 89
But I still hear people pisssing on Jethro Tull for that Grammy as if Crest of a Knave was an Abba record
This is s damn SOLID hard rock record
Happy Birthday to Yadier Molina, either a true ball playing hero (St louis fans)
Or an overated, neck tat sporting, short tempered thug according Brewers/Reds/Cubs fans.
Or so I'm told on the internet.
38 years old today
I heard 'em described as "Country Music for people who like LSD". Fair enuff I suppose

Brazing a pork loin in a vat of apple juice with a handful of coriander seeds and half cup of molasses.
Listening to acoustic guitarists - found this gem
Doc Watson transformed Bluegrass guitar, his talent was so huge it warped the entire genre
Here he is covering the Chet Atkins classic "Windy and Warm"
Billy and his dad covering an old Charlie Pride tune
on a couple of old Martin Dreadnoughts
If ya like picking, you can't stop grinning. So much excellence. Happy Saturday
This is a flat out sprint between Bela Fleck and Billy Strings.
