WELL, HOW ABOUT A BRASS BAND HEAVY METAL COVER?
The singer has a band of her own.
But I will probably spend a lot more time with Brass Against because of songs like this
Stumbled on to this band looking for more Emily Wolfe vids
And I promptly listened 4 times in a row.
Reminds me a little of Gravy - Funky keys and bass with a trip hammer back beat.
The "Please don't start a band" lyric makes me smile too.
My Wife and I saw this young woman live earlier this week
And she impressed us quite a bit.
Unfortunately we waited too long to buy her merch, by the time we went to the stall all of her CDs and T-shirts were gone. So it seems she made a great 1st impression with St Louis.
We both hope she comes back soon.
Ladies and Gentlemen please welcome Emily Wolfe:
If you have younger (Middle School early High Scool) readers in your life
This is pretty phenomenal:

If only I could trick my "Not a racist bone in my body" Racist relatives into reading this. The world would improve.
Let's go Blues.
I wanted to watch Hockey tonight (LGB), but the wife says no. Ya see, she bought tickets -
Back when the Blues were really bad and we didn't think they would make the playoffs at all. Let alone get 1 game away from the finals. Also, this year has been her initiation into not completely hating Hockey - so you know - baby steps
So anyway, tonight we will go see Black Pistol Fire at the Old Rock House.
Any St Louis folks who don't care to watch Hockey (I'm REALLY TRYING NOT TO BE JUDGEY HERE. You probably have your reasons...) can join us. Doors open at 7 show starts at 8. Should be a scorching show.
Good morning. Albert Collins sends his regards
While looking at videos of Molly Tuttle and her family I came across a video I hadn't seen -
In quite a long time.
The Tuttles with AJ Lee on a cable show in California.
And a teen age AJ Lee crushes a classic Graham Parker tune made famous by Emmy Lou Harris.
Let's compare and contrast shall we?
And hey GLAMROCK - come check this out
Pokey is acting a fool forgetting you
