The Polack MSgt
The Polack MSgt's JournalSo, it sure looks like Connor Lamb will be Congressman Lamb. OUTSTANDING!
And predictably enough he will now attacked as a Dino, a Blue Dog right winger - here on DU
Let me summarize the argument:
"So we're electing Yankee Blue Dogs now? ALEC and Goldman Sachs get to choose OUR candidates as well? isn't he is in bed with the NRA?" Etcetera...
Hey there Bro-flakes, gun confiscation (really any gun control proposal stronger than a better background check)is the kiss of death where I grew up. And BTW I grew up in PA 18...
Any medicaire for all proposal will be painted as a welfare give away to lazy brown people and IT WILL SELL. The Appalachias are as racist or MORE RACIST than anywhere I've ever been in the world. Tell us that it's a give away to blacks or Mexicans and 60-70% will believe it and vote against it even if it would help their own children.
So yes Connor Lamb distanced himself from Sen. Pelosi. No he doesn't support an Assault Rifle ban and finally, for the love of sanity - A Democrat is still better than a Republican even if they won't give you an ice cream and promise you a pony.
Real life is real. Politics has to deal with reality.
When you're hungry, 80% of a great meal is better than 100 percent of some shit on a shovel - and THAT'S the choice we have to make between "Bluedogs" and Republicans
Which albums have you owned the most? For yourself or gifts - hell I bought some records 10 tmes
In the DU Lounge today Miles Archer posted a thread celebrating 50th Anniversary of the release CSN&Y's Deja Vu -
I commented that that record was a "Trifecta" meaning that I purchased it in at least 3 formats. I believe that I purchased Deja Vu at least 5 times - In 8-track, Vinyl and CD.
I know that I had to keep buying "You're not Alone" by Roy Buchannan in the 70s and 80s because it was the most "stolen during parties" record I've ever owned.
Also on the list is the classic Allman Brothers' "Live at the Fillmore"

Ok, so Nunberg was definately on anti-depressants and probably drinking
But let's nip the sympathy crap in the bud please...
This guy is the deluxe Trump insider, long time aide and in general just a smear of feces on the political porcelain.
How does he sum up his contributions to America?
" I came up with the wall, I came up with the Muslim ban, I came up with everything to attack Jeb Bush, all that stuff."
So, yeah. Keep talking you slimy sack o' stupid. You'll look great in orange.
No sympathy, no mercy. Never forgive Trumpsters
The voices are the Jacksons, but the soul of this song
Is James Jamerson's bass line.
Playing it is a bitch, creating it on the fly was genius
It occurs to me that I have friends who are followers of Christ's teachings
As best they can, sincerely trying to manifest love for their fellow man.
I count around a dozen of them, and I consider myself lucky to know them.
On the other hand, I no longer have any "Christian" friends at all... The folks Juanita Jean would call "Super Deluxe Christians"
The Talibaptists, Teavangelicals, Y'all Quaeda, call them what you will. Just make no mistake, they are the engine pulling this train.
They are nothing new to America, or really to any time or place in history that I can think of - After all "No one expects the Spanish Inquisition" was a joke because, well, everyone expected the Spanish Inquisition.
And the Witch Trials.
And a year after the Holocaust ended, no one was surprised by the Kielce Pogrom either.
And now American Fundi-publican hatred has appointed an imbecile to run point for their hate.
Make no mistake - If we stand against them - We are evil in their eyes and they will hate us too.
Well, hate us even more than they already do I guess.
Louder is better. Just got told to turn down my headset - in the cubefarm where I work
The whole show kicks ass... But have a taste of Black Math
