Rapist, child molester captured in NKY after he was accidentally released from Georgia prison

FORT THOMAS, Ky. —
A convicted rapist and child molester mistakenly released from a Georgia prison was recaptured in Northern Kentucky on Wednesday.

According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Tony Maycon Munoz-Mendez, 31, was captured in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, around 10:30 p.m.

Munoz-Mendez was accidentally released from Rogers State Prison in Reidsville, Georgia, on Monday.

Munoz-Mendez was serving a life sentence for convictions of rape and child molestation in Gwinnett County.

Victim's grieving brother shocked with Taser, arrested at College Hill homicide scene

Cincinnati police officials said a homicide victim's brother was shocked with a Taser and arrested for interfering with the crime scene in College Hill on Friday night.

Officers responded to the 6000 block of Hamilton Avenue for the shooting around 7 p.m. The victim, Giavanni Penman, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police officials said Penman's brother, Carl Storms, 18, entered the crime scene and shrugged off officers trying to restrain him. Responding officers shocked Storms with a Taser and arrested him.

Transgender and sports. Mentally debating myself

I’m posting this because I am conflicted as to how I feel. I read an article on CNN about a transgender athlete encountering resistance while trying to compete. I will post the link to the article below. What are your thoughts?

Just so no one thinks I’m trying to shit stir without giving an opinion, I’ll say that I can understand the argument in regard to the natural testosterone this athlete has benefited from compared to the other girls. What is the common ground or the solution here?

4 arrested in mass murder of Pike County family

Four people have been arrested in connection to the mass murder of a Pike County family, Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine said Tuesday.

The following four members of the Wagner family, of South Webster, were taken into custody Tuesday afternoon and are charged with planning and carrying out the murders:

George "Billy" Wagner III, 47
Angela Wagner, 48
George Wagner IV, 27
Edward "Jake" Wagner, 26

Seven adults and a teenage boy were shot "execution-style" in rural Ohio on the night of April 21-22, 2016.

Eight members of the Rhoden family were shot and killed at four homes near Piketon, about 90 miles north of Cincinnati.

THIS IS A WHITE NEIGHBORHOOD': Woman admits leaving racist note on new neighbor's door

GREENTOWN, Ind. —
A 63-year-old Indiana woman has been arrested after police say she left a racist letter on the door of her neighbor's recently purchased house.

The Kokomo Tribune reports Deborah Cantwell has been charged with misdemeanor counts of intimidation and criminal mischief for a crime. She has also been served a protection order that prohibits her from contacting the family involved. She has been released on bond.

Police were contacted Oct. 13 when the husband and father of the family found his Greentown home toilet-papered in addition to the racist note.

“No N---- wanted in this neighborhood-THIS IS A WHITE NEIGHBORHOOD-some people find N-----Stressful,” the message read. "YOUR N---- KID IS NOT WELCOME.”

Shia LaBeouf went full racist at the Savannah Police Dept. where he was arrested this past weekend, telling a black officer he would go to hell because of his skin color.
In newly released video, while Shia was being fingerprinted he looked at a black officer and said, "You're going to hell, straight to hell, bro." A white cop questioned the drunk actor, and added ... "That doesn't mean he's going to hell." Shia responded, "It means a whole lot, bro."
He goes on to accuse the cops of being racist because "a black man arrested me for being white."

Confederate T-shirt will not be allowed in Tensing retrial

The judge in the murder retrial of a white Ohio police officer who fatally shot an unarmed black motorist ruled that the Confederate flag T-shirt Ray Tensing was wearing would not be admissible in his retrial.

His attorneys moved to to block from the trial a T-shirt depicting a Confederate battle flag that Tensing wore under his uniform, saying it was irrelevant but could be inflammatory.

Judge Leslie Ghiz said that the shirt would prejudice the jury, and noted that she would say the same thing if the T-shirt spoke about God or religion.

Military helicopter crashes in southern Maryland

LEONARDTOWN, Md. —
A military helicopter has crashed in St. Mary's County, Maryland, WBAL-TV's sister station WRC reported.

The St.Mary's County Fire Department said about 2 p.m. Monday that the aircraft crashed at the Breton Bay Golf Course, WRC reported.

Information on any injuries was not available immediately, WRC reported.

A Black Hawk military helicopter crashed in St. Mary's County, Maryland, WBAL-TV sister station WRC reported.

The St.Mary's County Fire Department said that the aircraft crashed at the Breton Bay Golf Course, WRC reported.

"About 1 o'clock we had a Black Hawk helicopter come over and he was kind of flying sideways, pretty low, and then as we got out on the deck watching it, he got treetop level and all of a sudden we saw the tail spin up and just spinning around and we heard him go down," witness Mike Harvey, a golf professional at Breton Bay Golf Course, told WBAL News Radio 1090 AM.
