FLYNNS COOPERATION IN RUSSIA INVESTIGATION FALSELY BLAMED ON JEWS AND THE MEDIA BY FAR-RIGHT CONSPIRACISTS
BY MICHAEL EDISON HAYDEN ON 12/1/17 AT 4:18 PM
Retired Lieutenant General Michael Flynn has reportedly offered his cooperation in the special counsels Russia investigation. If ABC News is to be believed, President Donald Trumps former national security adviser is specifically prepared to testify that the president directed him to reach out to the Russians, initially as a way to work together to fight ISIS in Syria.
Well, this news is unsettling for some of Trumps fans on the far-right end of the political spectrum. Some of them are currently storming through the Internet, looking for a scapegoatany scapegoat at all, reallyupon whom they can heap blame for this particular turn of events. Jewish people, who are among the primary targets of alt-right abuse on social media, have taken quite a bit of the heat so far, and Democrats, the media and Barack Obama have also been targeted with wrath.
One of these abusers is Jared Wyand, a Trump mega-fan who accumulated a huge following on Twitter during the electiononly to be banned for calling Star Wars: Rogue One part of a Jewish conspiracy in December of last year (yes, really)who posts into the void on Gab, a social media website that hosts large numbers of neo-fascist, Nazi, and white supremacist users. He let his followers know that he thought the Jews were not only responsible for this Star Wars-related plot, but also for the bad news about Flynn.
Not that any of this is anywhere near criminal but here is Zionism at the center again, Wyand mused on the alt-rights favorite social media site. I wonder (((who))) was pestering Trump admin for this information. (Far-right social media users put triple parenthesis around wordswho, in this caseto connote Jewishness.)

First U.S. Baby Born After Uterus Transplant
Source: The Daily Beast
A woman born without a uterus has given birth to a baby for the first time within the United States, Time reported Friday. The woman, who asked not to be identified for privacy, gave birth Friday at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, which has been one of the few in America to launch and perfect the process of uterus transplants. The very first uterus transplant, in Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg in Sweden, led to eight subsequent births. This birth is the first after the Swedish case to be successful. Dr. Liza Johannesson, a uterus transplant expert on the team, said it paved the path for future solutions for women born without uteruses to viably have children. We were very proud of the first birth in Sweden, she said in a statement. But this birth is whats going to make the field grow, because this is the first time this has been replicated anywhere else. This step is equally, if not even more, important.

KT McFarland was transition official at Mar-a-Lago who spoke with Flynn about Russian ambassador
Source: CNN
December 1, 2017 5:11pm EST
KT McFarland was the senior transition official at Mar-a-Lago who discussed with Michael Flynn what, if anything, to communicate to the Russian ambassador about US sanctions, according sources familiar with the matter.
McFarland was not named in the document but sources confirmed she was who was described in the court filings. CNN has learned McFarland met with Mueller investigators recently to answer questions about Michael Flynn, according to the sources.
According to the special counsel charges, McFarland and Flynn talked about the potential impact of the sanctions on the incoming Trump administrations foreign policy and that the transition team did not want Russia to escalate the situation.
An attorney for McFarland declined comment.

Republican Senator Corker says cannot support Senate tax bill

Reuters Staff
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Republican Senator Bob Corker said on Friday he cannot support a sweeping tax bill that Senate Republican leaders have said has enough votes to pass.
At the end of the day, I am not able to cast aside my fiscal concerns and vote for legislation that I believe, based on the information I currently have, could deepen the debt burden on future generations, Corker said in a statement issued by his office.

Ex-White House ethics chiefs: After Flynn, Are Kushner and Don Jr. Next?
By RICHARD W. PAINTER and NORMAN L. EISENDEC. 1, 2017
On Friday morning, Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the F.B.I. while serving as President Trumps national security adviser. Making a false statement to a federal official is a felony offense, but nowhere near as bad as what the special counsel, Robert Mueller, could likely have charged Mr. Flynn with, including charges for possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act (similar to those brought against the former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and his deputy Rick Gates) or those stemming from a possible attempt to kidnap a Turkish cleric in Pennsylvania. By pleading guilty and agree to cooperate with Mr. Mueller, Mr. Flynn also appears to have averted prosecution of his son, who was reportedly implicated in some of the misconduct.
Prosecutors generally offer favorable plea bargains like this one only when the cooperating defendant can provide evidence that incriminates someone up the ladder someone more senior than the defendant himself. In our experience, that is particularly true when the prosecutor is deciding not to pursue other, readily provable charges, like those that seem to exist here.
Lest there be any doubt about what is happening, the statement of the offense filed along with Mr. Flynns plea shows that he is prepared to testify that the communications that he lied about, concerning conversations with the Russian ambassador in December 2016, were discussed with multiple members of the transition team including one senior official and one very senior member. It is not yet clear who those individuals are, but transition officials and members included Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr. as well as Vice President Mike Pence, Representative Devin Nunes of California; the former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.
It is probably Mr. Kushner who is in greatest jeopardy now. Bloomberg has reported that he is the very senior transition member who directed Mr. Flynn to reach out to Russia. Mr. Kushner has already been questioned by the special counsel and by Congress. If he was one of those officials Mr. Flynn spoke to and he was not honest about it when questioned, he could face similar false statement charges.

Senior White House official: Trump "feels sorry for Flynn"
Source: CNN
December 1, 2017 4:06pm EST
From CNN's Jim Acosta
A senior White House official said the President Trump has been briefed on the legal situation with Michael Flynn. The senior official said the president is feeling "no anxiety" about the situation. "There is no anxiety with Flynn and about what he might say."
The President "feels sorry for Flynn... I think he likes Flynn," this official said, adding the Trump is "thinking about Flynn and his family."
The official said it's not accurate that Jared Kushner directed Flynn to talk to the Russian ambassador. This official said there were "fulsome discussions with the entire group" about Flynn's conversation with the ambassador, adding that multiple transition officials were involved in the decision.
This official defended Flynn's conversations and claimed the Obama White House knew about the discussions. "None of the conversations were improper and were authorized by the Obama administration," the official said, noting that the Trump team did have a different view on Russian sanctions than the outgoing Obama administration.
CNN is reaching out to former Obama officials for comment.

Carl Bernstein says that after Flynn's guilty plea 'we can put away the fake news charge'
NOOR AL-SIBAI
01 DEC 2017 AT 16:16 ET
Veteran journalist Carl Bernstein said on Friday that the concept of fake news is a minor casualty amid revelations from former Trump adviser Mike Flynns guilty plea.
None of this is fake news, Bernstein told CNNs Jim Sciutto, referencing President Donald Trumps favorite epithet for news that he dislikes. We can put away the fake news charge once and for all after today.
In the segment, Bernstein also spoke more about the differences between Watergate and Trumps Russiagate, and in particular, how the potential corruption in the Trump White House is a family affair.
This is also, today, very much about family, he said. Its about Flynn, and his son, and Flynns fear that his son might be prosecuted. And thats one of the reasons he was willing to be flipped here. But its also about the Trump family. This means that Jared Kushner is at the center of what [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller is looking at. Theres no getting around that.

'Embarrassed' Geraldo Rivera apologizes for 'tawdry' memoir
Source: Associated Press
By FRAZIER MOORE
Today
NEW YORK (AP) Geraldo Rivera is apologizing for a memoir published a quarter-century ago that recounts sexual experiences he says hes now embarrassed about.
In a tweet on Friday, Rivera, now a Fox News Channel reporter, cites his tawdry book and what he calls consensual events it recounts. He describes its tone as distasteful and disrespectful. He says hes profoundly sorry to the women involved and to anyone offended by it.
The book, titled Exposing Myself, was published in 1991.
Riveras post follows a tweet on Thursday by Bette Midler renewing an allegation of being drugged and groped by Rivera and his producer colleague in the 1970s.

Geraldo Riveras 1991 Memoir Is a Horndogs Bible of Workplace Harassment
He grabs Bette Midlers boobs, beds every conceivable underling, and waxes about failing to have sex with Barbara Walters. I read it all so you didnt have to.

Threesomes with young interns in the studio boiler room. Making out with a PA in front of an entire news crew. Receiving oral sex from the estranged wife of the Canadian prime minister in a Central Park rowboat.
These sexual misadventures of one prominent media man could prompt even the most cosmopolitan among us to clutch at our necks for pearls. But Im not talking about Roger Ailes, Bill OReilly, Mark Halperin, or even Matt Lauer. Im talking Geraldo Rivera.
Up through yesterday, Geraldo didnt have much to do with the #MeToo movement until he waded unwisely into the conversation with a Streisand Effect tweet that Matt Lauers sexual misconduct-related dismissal from NBCs Today was sad because news is a flirty business & it seems like the current epidemic of #SexHarassmentAllegations may be criminalizing courtship & conflating it w predation.
Not satisfied with that, the Fox News host continued. #SexHarassment, he said, should be confined to situations where superior imposes himself on subordinate who feels unable to complain because of power of perp or feared consequences to victims employment.
