It may prove to be another despicable crime going unpunished, leading to more of the same.
"THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) An international team of investigators said Wednesday it found strong indications that Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the supply of heavy anti-aircraft weapons to Ukrainian separatists who shot down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 in 2014 with a Russian missile.
However, members of the Joint Investigation Team said they had insufficient evidence to prosecute Putin or any other suspects and they suspended their 8½-year inquiry into the shooting down that killed all 298 people on board the Boeing 777 flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur."
Anybody know about new fangled diagnostics on refrigerators?
We have a three year old Whirlpool side by side refrigerator: WRS571CIDW00.
I've had issues with the icemaker, but fixed them in the past with getting rid of ice build up on the interior of the door. But I'm in over my head now. Found a video of how wires become detached through normal opening of the door. Fixed them. Then ordered a new ice maker. It was installed today. No ice. And I could only unplug and turn on the switch. No reset button like some I found on line. Maybe there isn't one?
I've looked around and found a video dealing with diagnostics. But it's beyond me.

Has anybody dealt successfully with this type of refrigerator?

Ideas for important movies that might help us deal with "fear of the other"
I watched an old Dateline 2 nights ago where a "Christian" guy shot up a car of young white guys. He had countless high tech weapons and lived with his wife and three beautiful children, who are now scared of "others" for life.
His warped version of Christianity and military background belie his trustworthiness. It's a horrible but thought provoking news story from 2011. And the hero is a transplanted police detective from San Francisco hoping to escape rampant crime by moving to a small town in the High Sierras.
A car full of young white guys looking for a party in the dark backroads come across a bizarre no trespassing sign, so they stole a solar light. Next night they took 2 more. That act of stupidity cost lives and caused countless irreparable damage to psyches of many people.
This case should be turned into a movie by someone like Ron Howard. One young man shot in the head died. They desperately tried to escape him. But he was enraged and gunned them down and then lied about the whole thing. He's serving 80 years in prison.
I keep thinking about the kids and his lies about keeping them safe. He lied about everything. THIS NEEDS TO BE A MOVIE. SO MUCH TO EXPOSE ABOUT GUN/CHRISTIAN/MILITARY/SURVIVALIST/PHONEY CULTURE.

Where did the wealth go?
Was it always an estimation?
"Americas richest lost $660 billion collectively in 2022 Elon Musk lost the most"
If they lost the money. Where is it now?

Great quote from NJ Representative re: Mnuchin
U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell, Jr. (D-NJ)
"Being lectured on civility from someone who works for the President, President Trump, is like taking chivalry lessons from Jack the Ripper. It is impossible to be polite to corruption and people who break the law."

Two important articles on going forward with crazy town.
https://www.rawstory.com/investigating-gop/On Wednesday, POLITICO reported that Democratic strategists are launching a "war room" to investigate House Republicans in the event that they abuse their oversight powers in an incoming Republican majority.

Newly revealed documents shed light on a secretive right-wing group, its well-connected members and extensive efforts undertaken to overturn Donald Trump's election loss.
Mark Meadows is the worst!!
a little bit anxious for Katie Porter
For the first time in 5 days she lost votes.

Musing a solution to our anti-democratic electoral college .
Don't pounce on me please, like usual. Just think what this would do. Alternate every 4 years to go by popular vote and electoral college vote. It's a compromise worth pondering since getting rid of the damned thing has Constitutional roots.
Otherwise it's a an amendment fight. I want so much to see a 2 year campaign based on winning the majority of Americans' votes. What would that change? Everything.
