Parents of high school senior say COVID-19 'just ate her through' and killed her in days
"I have no words for it. I just can't believe how fast that it progressed," her father, Don Simental said.

CHICAGO — A family in Chicago is remembering their 18-year-old daughter who died from COVID-19, ABC Chicago reports.

Sarah Simental's parents told the news station their daughter didn't have any other health problems but couldn't beat the coronavirus.

Her mother Deborah Simental said her daughter's symptoms started with a headache. Then, it turned into a sore throat and body aches just a few days before Christmas, according to ABC Chicago.

...

"It literally just ate her through," her mother added. "And no parent should ever have to watch their child go through that."

I would have a sex change and have the babies for...

I will give every last dime to my name...

Wow! Is this site good at guessing!

Fiction or non. Human or non

Wow! This site is good. I’ve thrown two much lesser known characters at it and it got them both. Roland Deschain from Stephen King’s The Dark Tower series and Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov from Dostoyevsky’s Crime and Punishment

"Jupiturn". Jupiter Saturn. This photo is amazeballs

Just went outside to see “Jupiturn”. Last time they were this close together at night, Genghis Khan was war-mongering and St Francis Assisi was making his first nativity set

Courtesy of https://twitter.com/JRehling/status/1340899770341060608

“Jupiter's moons, left to right, are Callisto, Ganymede, Io, and Europa. A dim star is coincidentally near Ganymede.

Saturn's moons, going counterclockwise from left, are Rhea, Tethys, Dione, and Titan.

This was taken with a 9.25" (that means wide) Celestron telescope with a 2350mm focal length and an ASI 1600mm monochrome camera, with separate filters for clear, red, green, and blue.

I took 50 frames of RGB, at 20ms per frame, and 12 frames of clear at 200 ms.

Jupiter, Saturn, and the five brightest moons are from the RGB. The three dimmer moons of Saturn from the clear, brightness jacked way up.

You can see Jupiter's Great Red Spot.”

CBS Sunday Morning - Waiting - Jim Gaffigan says it so succinctly and perfectly!

Christmas is only five days away. Can you believe it?

So, we wait.

We wait not with the eagerness of a child excited to tear open presents. We hop back on that waiting treadmill which is the year of 2020.

Waiting is something we've done a lot of this year.

We've done an awful lot of it this year.

Initially we waited for information, guidance and leadership on what the Coronavirus exactly was and how our lives will change.

We waited to celebrate our frontline workers at 7 p.m.

We waited for PPE and stimulus checks.

We waited for Zoom meetings to start, small businesses to be safe, and curves to go up, and then down, and then up.

We waited to see family – and we waited to finally get away from our family.

We waited for our fellow citizens to start following guidelines, social justice to arrive, and this country to come together.

At times it felt like we were waiting to completely lose our minds.

We waited for an election, and test results. We waited on recounts, challenges, and more new restrictions.

We waited on reactions to reactions, and over-reactions to over-reactions.

We waited on a vaccine, trials and approvals. And now we wait to receive a physical and metaphoric shot in the arm.

But first, we wait for Christmas.

Then we wait for this God-awful year of waiting to be put in the history books.

We wait for 2020 to be a memory which will inform and instruct our nation's character to be more compassionate, informed and respectful.

Well, that's more of a wish, I guess. I'm waiting for that wish to come true.

Merry pandemic, everyone. God bless us all.
