cannabis_flower's JournalCold in Houston!
Well it started out with no internet from Comcast and spotty service from T-Mobile but my electricity was on and I was comfortable. I just couldnt work because I work from home on the internet.
Then no water and at 10:36 pm on Tuesday the electricity went out. It came back on Wednesday morning about 2:30am but went out about 9am went out again. I went to a friends house who had electricity for a few hours (my husband stayed home in the cold because my friend has animals that mess with his allergies.). I came home because he was hungry but all I could find to bring home were Doritos and bean dip and coffee. It teased me for about 5 minutes when the electricity came on and went right back out.
Im sitting in my car charging my phone and getting warm. Its 55 degrees in the house.
Update: We now have electricity. Still no water for bathing or dishes. We are under boil water orders but no water to boil. But due to my husbands niece, we now have plenty of drinking water.
I'm not a cat! Very funny!
Dont know if this has been posted yet but its hilarious!
I wonder...
What will be on the menu when the Super Bowl Champions come to the White House.
I bet it wont be burgers, French fries and chicken nuggets!
I have a question about Covid-19
Anyone live somewhere where there is a curfew because of Covid-19?
I have to say I dont understand why they would institute a curfew as a COVID-19 measure. How does that help? I understand the mask mandate. I understand banning large group gatherings. But how does making me be home by 10 keep me safe from a virus. I mean, if I get in my car and drive around by myself at 3am or take a walk by myself, how is that any more unsafe (virus wise) than doing the same thing at 6pm?
I love watching reaction videos
These young black twins listening to Smooth, Santana with Robb Thomas
They have a YouTube channel where they listen to music theyve never heard of as varied as Phil Collins, Dolly Parton and Adele.

I have a bit of a complaint about the IRS
When you call to talk about your taxes and you are waiting to talk to them, they tell you they are busy helping other customers.
First off you arent really going to help me.
And secondly, Im not a customer, Im a taxpayer.
I resent being called a customer. Please call me a taxpayer.
Things are getting crazy on Facebook
My own sister got all butt-hurt because Trump lost and came on my wall and started talking shit and then when I responded, she unfriended me. What a load of crap! She needs to remember that just because you delete something, it doesnt mean its gone!
