Behind the Aegis's JournalChechen President on Gays: 'They Are Devils. They Are Not People'
Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov gave a chilling interview where he again said gay people do not exist in Chechnya and if they do, they are devils who should immediately flee to Canada.
Kadyrov speaking to HBO's Real Sports, ostensibly about a wrestling league in Chechyna, a semiautonomous republic within Russia was confronted about his nation's imprisonment and killing of gay and bisexual men; an unknown number have been murdered. Kadyrov was furious at the questioning by reporter David Scott: "Why does he come here? What's the point of these questions?"
Kadyrov finally answered,"We don't have those kinds of people here... If there are there take them to Canada... Take them far from us so we don't have them at home... To purify our blood, if there are any here, take them."
When pushed by Scott about the reports from the tortured gay men, Kadryov responded, "They are devils. They are for sale. They are not people."
Kadyrov an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin also made clear he views the U.S. as an enemy and said, "Even if our government was completely destroyed, our nuclear missiles would be automatically deployed. We will put the whole world on its knees and screw it from behind."

'Violent History' of 'Zio': How Chicago's Dyke March Adopted an anti-Semitic Slur Dear to White Supr

'Violent History' of 'Zio': How Chicago's Dyke March Adopted an anti-Semitic Slur Dear to White Supremacists
The latest chapter in the Chicago Dyke March controversy unfolded late last week after the group walked back its use of the term Zio, a pejorative brought into prominence by former KKK Grand Wizard David Duke and often deployed by white supremacists.
The group had tweeted Zio tears replenish my electrolytes to mock concerns about the marchs banning of women carrying Gay Pride flags with the Star of David at the center. And the journalist who broke the story last month was demoted following pressure from the marchs organizers, says a close friend who was with the reporter at the event.
In any case, critics argue that the Dyke Marchs apparent attempt to distinguish between anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism was offset by the violence of the prefix-turned-epithet.
...snip....
When the Dyke March Collective was originally confronted with the controversy surrounding the term, it responded: Wow, trying to compare a group of queer people of color to the KKK, so fucked up.
The Chicago Dyke March Collective describes itself as an anti-racist, anti-violent, volunteer-led, grassroots effort with a goal to bridge together communities across race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, age, size, gender identity, gender expression, sexuality, culture, immigrant status, spirituality, and ability.

Netanyahu attends ceremony for 75th anniversary of WWII roundup of Jews in Paris
Source: i24NEWS
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attended a ceremony commemorating 75 years since the rounding up of 13,000 Jews at Paris's Vél d'Hiv stadium in 1942, the majority of whom were later deported and killed in Nazi extermination camps.
It was the first time the premier attended the ceremony and it is his first visit to Paris since 2015 after the attacks on Charlie Hebdo and the kosher supermarket Hypercacher.
....
In July 1942, 13,152 Jews were arrested at the request of the Nazis and by order of the French government in power. Held in inhumane conditions for four days, they were piled on the steps of the Velodrome d'Hive stadium (demolished in 1959), dedicated to cycling races, before being taken to camps in the Loiret. There, 3,000 children were brutally separated from their parents, and deported first to Auschwitz.
Less than a hundred of those rounded up - and none of the children - survived.

French Jews fume as prosecutors reject hate crime in Jewish womans murder
PARIS Leaders of French Jewry strongly criticized the absence of a mention of hate crime in the indictment of a Paris man who killed his Jewish neighbor while shouting about Allah.
CRIF, the umbrella group of French Jewish community, used uncharacteristically harsh language in criticizing the indictment for murder filed by prosecutors Wednesday against Kobili Traore, who confessed to killing 66-year-old Sarah Halimi on April 4 and throwing her dying body from the third-story window of her apartment.
CRIF is astonished that the anti-Semitic character of the murder was omitted, read the statement of the organization, which over the past two weeks has presented on the homepage of its website a running meter with the number of days it took authorities to file an indictment. CRIF has accused authorities of covering up and silencing the slaying of Halimi along with mainstream media.
Traore, 27, who has no history of mental illness, initially was hospitalized in a psychiatric institution as per his insanity plea. He knew that Halimi, a physician and kindergarten teacher, was Jewish and had called her daughter dirty Jew in the elevator two years ago, the daughter told French Jewish media.

Are Muslim, gay, black and Jewish swimmers safe at the FINA World Championship in Budapest?
As an American of Hungarian origin I hope that the USA Swim team will succeed in Budapest at the upcoming 2017 FINA World Aquatics Championships. The competition will start this weekend and lasts two weeks. I also wish good luck to the Hungarian team.
To be honest I would have been happier if Hungarian-born Katinka Hosszú would compete in US colors, as she did in the past. She has decided to represent her birth country, Hungary, and that is her choice. I sincerely hope that she wont become a poster girl of that countrys oppressive regime.
US swimmers should know that while Hungarian people are not racist, Hungarys current government and policies are. Prime Minister Orbáns regime relentlessly attacks Muslims, gays, blacks and Jews. Orbán talks about a Muslim invasion of the country and Christian identity is under threat from Muslim immigrants. Hungary wont let them in.
His government also talks about faggot lobby and host city Budapests mayor, Mr. István Tarlós, has talked about homosexuality as unnatural and repulsive. Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Zsolt Semjén has called homosexuality a deviance and an aberration. Pro-government media labelled Brian Boitano as a gay provocateur because he was part of the US 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics delegation.
Blacks dont fare much better. Orbán has explained that the real threat comes from Africa because the blacks are ready to migrate and threaten Hungary.

(Jewish Group) The Far Lefts Toxic Mix Of Anti-Semitism And Misogyny Must Be Stopped
THIS IS THE JEWISH GROUP!!!
The British elections should be a lesson for the Democratic Party, Sen. Bernie Sanders wrote in The New York Times less than a week after race ended. Never mind that the left-wing Labour Party actually lost to the Conservative Party, much like Hillary Clinton defeated Sanders himself in the Democratic primaries. The American left, he argued, has much to learn from Labours very progressive manifesto that generated much enthusiasm among young people and workers.
A month has now passed since that election, and Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and the far-left, including the grassroots campaigning organization Momentum, are in the ascendancy. There are signs that their primary task is now quashing dissent and securing the revolution inside the Party. Get on board with Corbyn or get out is the long and the short of it. Moderate Members of Parliament may be targeted by activists for de-selection withdrawing the party endorsement and replaced by ideological conformists.
One of those preyed upon in recent days has been Luciana Berger. The local party in her constituency, Liverpool Wavertree, has been taken over by Corbyn supporters who immediately demanded an apology for her prior insubordination, local press reported. Roy Bentham previously a regular contributor to Socialist Fight, a website run by the anti-Zionist conspiracy theorist Gerry Downing said, The next time she wants to vote for bombing in Syria or to pass a no confidence motion in the leader of the party, she will have to be answerable to us.
This ominous and obvious intimidation fits a pattern on the far-left, an unhealthy obsession not only with women BBC journalist Laura Kuenssberg, Labour MP Yvette Cooper, and so on but more specifically Jewish women. Most infamously, at the launch of a botched report into anti-Semitism in the Labour Party in June 2016, Ruth Smeeth stated that she was verbally attacked by a Momentum activist and Jeremy Corbyn supporter who used traditional anti-Semitic slurs to attack me for being part of a media conspiracy.
After that incident, Smeeth was called a yid, a CIA/MI5/Mossad informant, and a traitor. She was not alone. Margaret Hodge received anti-Semitic emails after she instigated a vote of no confidence against Corbyn in July 2016. In Liverpool Riverside, the far-left created what a local councilor called an intimidating and hostile atmosphere for Jews, which included going after their MP, Louise Ellman, who is also vice-chair of Labour Friends of Israel.

The Anti-Semitism Around Donald Trump
President Donald Trumps visit to Warsaw prior to the G20 summit in Hamburg was a whirlwind affair, tightly scheduled and lasting less than a day. It was so tight, in fact, that he was unable to squeeze in a stop at the monument to the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising, sending his daughter Ivanka to lay flowers there instead.
With that decision, Trump became the first U.S. president in nearly 30 years not pay his respects at the monument on his first state visit to Poland. Leaders of the Jewish community there expressed disappointment in his decision to skip it.
Coming just days after the president retweeted a video of himself beating up CNN from an account that turns out to have also trafficked in vicious anti-Semitism (once again), the omission was bound to draw notice and criticism from Jews in Poland as well as the U.S. It was also suspiciously convenient to the political agenda of Polands ruling party, Politicos Annie Karni notes, as the right-wing nationalist Law and Justice party has worked to refocus Polands historical memory of the Holocaust on its Polish victims and heroes (of which there were indeed very many), and away from the virtual eradication of the countrys millennium-old Jewish community much less any Polish complicity in that atrocity, the mere mention of which the ruling party has sought to criminalize.
This is not to suggest that Trumps travel itineraries reveal anti-Semitic intentions. But its part of a pattern of participating in situations and categories of political rhetoric with anti-Jewish undercurrents.
In his Warsaw speech, Trump referred frequently to the West and to our civilization, going so far as to state grandiosely: The fundamental question of our time is whether the West has the will to survive. This claim, Peiter Beinart observes at the Atlantic, only makes sense as a statement of racial and religious paranoia:

(Jewish Group) The New Post-Racial Spiderman Ignores His Jewish Superhero Roots
(THIS IS THE JEWISH GROUP!)
Is Peter Parker, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Jewish?
In the new film, Spider-Man: Homecoming, the answer is an emphatic no. Tom Holland, who plays Peter, is of Irish and English descent; in the film he and his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) are Italian. Spider-Man isnt Jewish canonically in the comics either; when his religious or ethnic background comes up, hes generally represented as loosely mainline Protestant.
Spider-Mans first appearance in comics, however, is more ambiguous about his Jewishness. Hints of anti-Semitism help define the characters traumatic and frankly grim origin story. Spider-Man: Homecoming is a much cheerier vision of the possibilities of assimilation. But it gets to that multi-cultural vision in part by simply erasing Jewish content altogether.
Many early superhero comics creators in the 1940s were Jewish, and its easy to read iconic early characters as fantasies of Jewish assimilation. Jerry Siegel and Joe Shusters Clark Kent is a nebbishy Jewish stereotype who puts on circus tights to become an Aryan=American archetype of manliness. Joe Simon and Jack Kirbys Steve Rogers is a nebbishy Jewish stereotype, unfit for combat, until he takes the super-soldier serum and becomes a fit, confident symbol of Americanness, decked out in red, white and blue.
Marvel creators were often Jewish as well, and again many of their heroes, like the (once again) nebbishy Bruce Banner, or the working-class ethnic Ben Grimm, can be read as Jewish stand-ins. By the 60s, though, the civil rights movement had raised questions for white creators about assimilation into American whiteness, and about American justice and tolerance in general. Scholar Martin Lund told me via email that, the Civil Rights movement made some Jewish Americans leerier about whiteness, in a dual sense. On the one hand, there was a strong commitment among many Jewish Americans to the movement, at least up to a point, because it was just and because rights for one minority would also mean rights for another. On the other hand, too strong a commitment was problematic, because during the Cold War, activism of this kind was often claimed to be a communist front, which of course meant that the old anti-Semitic canards of international Jewry and Judeo-Bolshevism were never far from the surface.

(Jewish Group) NC Pride Excludes Jews By Scheduling Event On Yom Kippur
THIS IS THE JEWISH GROUP!
Like many in the Jewish community, I was deeply troubled to see that the Chicago Dyke March kicked out three women for carrying pride flags adorned with the Star of David. The star, a proud symbol of Judaism, reportedly made some marchers feel unsafe. One ejected marcher told the Chicagoist, Being removed from this march because of my visible Jewish symbol actually makes me feel unsafe. I will wonder aloud if marchers would ever be kicked out of a pride event for carrying pride flags that include a Christian cross or Islamic star and crescent.
At pride events across the country, Jewish organizations and congregations march with pride flags that include the Star of David to represent LGBTQ and Jewish pride. It should go without saying that Jews who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer deserve to be supported, valued and included in LGBTQ events.
In my home state of North Carolina, NC Pride chose to schedule their 33rd annual LGBT festival on September 30, 2017, which is Yom Kippur, the holiest day of Judaism. Carolina Jews for Justice responded to this grossly inappropriate scheduling choice with a statement which read in part, No group of people, Jewish or otherwise, should have to choose between our LGBTQ identities and the other identities that are important to us and shape our lives. Would NC Pride ever schedule the pride festival on another religious holiday, such as Easter, Christmas or Eid Al-Fitr?
As the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Durham-Chapel Hill, Jill Madsen, told me, It is very upsetting that this was the date selected for this year. For the past few years the Durham-Chapel Hill Jewish community has had a large presence at the event [We] hosted a booth and had a float in the parade. Last year alone we had over 100 people marching with us. We continue to encourage people to send letters [to NC Pride] as it is important they hear from the community. We are working with our community partners to host a separate Pride event in October connected to Sukkot, so there is still an opportunity for the Jewish community to join together and show our support.

And the hits keep coming. I used to live in NC and went to this festival many times. I hope they come to their senses, and if not, that they don't make the mistake the university I worked for did when they scheduled homecoming on Rosh Hashana. They wanted to "make up" to the Jews of campus (read, DONORS) by having a pig-pickin' on Yom Kippur. No, I am not even kidding. I was the sole Jew on staff and I put a stop to that bullshit. At first, I thought they were making a joke, when I realized they were serious, I got really pissed.
This is the reality of being a Jew now. We are a minority and we are still hated, but it isn't just the right-wing.
Hungarian Jews ask PM Orban to end 'bad dream' of anti-Semitism
Hungarian Jews said on Thursday Prime Minister Viktor Orban's billboard campaign against migration and foreign influence, using the image of U.S. financier George Soros, was a proxy for anti-Semitism.
They urged the nationalist Orban to halt the campaign. "Please make sure this bad dream ends as soon as possible," Andras Heisler, chairman of the Federation of Hungarian Jewish Federations (Mazsihisz), said in an emailed statement.
Orban's spokesman said the campaign had nothing to do with anti-Semitism but rather sought only to counter what he called Soros's attempts to unduly change immigration policies in Hungary.
Orban has locked horns with fellow European Union members in the west of the bloc over his opposition to immigration and liberal values and has criticized Soros - a major supporter of democracy and human rights causes - in increasingly sharp tones.
Orban, who faces elections next year, long proclaimed zero tolerance for anti-Semitism though has more recently risked angering Israel and Jews with remarks apparently meant to court far right voters.
His government has conducted a "national consultation" on issues of foreign influence and mass immigration, asking people if they were open to allowing either. Voters who responded rejected both and Orban launched a massive follow-up campaign.
