Sending you good green vibes of health and healing and renewal and vigor.

Please keep us posted. Otherwise we're gonna worry.

YES. Brava, Nance!

I've begun riffing on that idea, myself. But mine is all related to the pro-choice/"pro-life" issue.

You can't say you're "pro-life" if you...
- are pro death penalty.
- don't believe in climate change.
- object to programs that provide support for families, children, and single-heads-of-household.
- oppose Planned Parenthood and want it defunded (when it is frequently the ONLY source for pre-natal care for poor women - HELLO Texas).
- embrace the wanton access to any damn gun that any damn dipshit thinks there's a God-given "right" for ANYONE to own or collect, regardless of mental or emotional condition - OR someone they live with who manifests such conditions. (HELLO, Mom of Sandy Hook shooter. Those were YOUR guns he used that day, with YOU as his first victim.)
- sneer at the Black Lives Matter movement or otherwise don't take it seriously.
- embrace military action as the one-size-fits-all "solution" to international problems.

If any of those statements above applies, one's self-proclaimed status as a "pro-lifer" is SERIOUSLY AND PROFOUNDLY questionable.

How are they NOT?

September 26, 2016

Lazy pollsters. Lazy media. Typical for this election cycle.

DEFINITELY bears repeating. Because it happens to be correct.

Welcome to DU, Foggyhill!

I suspect you're right. I frankly do NOT see how ANY so-called minority group goes for Trump in any noticeable numbers. I just don't.

I think there's very likely some underpolling going on. I've seen examples this since the primary season - particularly in cases where Hillary did better than pundits were expecting, looking at what THEY thought they were seeing. And it wasn't the whole picture.

Is it wrong that I'm smiling?

September 26, 2016

He better be careful.

Hillary's highest public opinion poll numbers came as her husband was going through the whole Monica thing. I don't think she's gotten numbers that high since, even in good times.

And this is liable to irritate women voters even more. I've heard it said (by some talking head awhile back) that Trump's problems with women stem from the fact that he reminds too many of them of their ex-husbands. And not in a good way.

I'm NOT GOING TO forget. I'm going to make it a point to shove it in every CON's face

every chance I get. How I saw what they did and I know who and what they are. And the word "deplorable" doesn't even begin to define what they are.

I hope I get a chance to meet one or more of them so I can tell them how I feel directly to their miserable hypocritical criminal faces.

I'm NEVER going to forget. I'm making it a point not to.

I'm going to hold it against them as long as I draw breath, and say so whenever the opportunity presents itself. I'm gonna make sure my kids know what these miserable spiteful fuckers did, so THEY don't forget, either. As if they don't, already, from how much of my fuming about this shit they've been around to hear. Long ago, I told them - if you EVER feel you need to vote for the enemy, at least wait til after I'm dead. Voting CON is an unforgivable sin. It's the Imperius Curse, the Cruciatus Curse, and Avada Kedavra all rolled into one.

I will fight these bastards and tell the truth about them and do everything I can to make their lives miserable til the day I die.

I missed it, too.

Probably a good thing, I'd guess...

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
