Oh Canada...

And he behaves like a Miniman.

Another word for man-baby. Not necessarily the correct term in Latin, however.

Isn't he having funding trouble with that building as well?

666 Fifth Avenue? Supposedly mortgaged to the hilt - what did I hear? 1.2 Billion dollars' worth, that comes due in two years? And the Kushner folks are underwater on that, too?

Brings me back to this:

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-fbi-kushner-exclusive-idUSKBN18N018

Seventh paragraph from the bottom:

FBI investigators are examining whether Russians suggested to Kushner or other Trump aides that relaxing economic sanctions would allow Russian banks to offer financing to people with ties to Trump, said the current U.S. law enforcement official.

And one of those sneaky-ass "back channel" efforts Jared tried in early December (long before his father-in-law's inauguration), as I understand it, was with a Russian bank currently hamstrung by sanctions imposed earlier by the US.

I know what that paragraph tells me. It tells me it could be a smoking gun.

Welcome to DU, jovibennett!

We sure are stuck with a self-centered man-baby. I'm glad the Europeans have better leadership. Especially impressed with Macron of France. trump's behavior during his recent trip to the NATO meeting was horrifying, disgraceful, reprehensible, and humiliating.

When bush/cheney got "re-elected" (because there's still doubt about the legitimacy of the Ohio vote) in 2004, something that could be called a People's Outreach online started to spread. People posted "Sorry World" photos of themselves with their handmade signs, apologizing for foisting those two unindicted war criminals on the rest of the planet. I'm surprised we haven't seen or heard of one apologizing for trump/pence.

Welcome to DU, LWilliams!

As a retired AP reporter, I appreciate this. I still have my old AP Stylebook (and UPI's version, too, just for good measure). It's really great that they stay on their toes about this stuff. As we've seen from the Jackass-in-Chief, words matter. Wordings and phrasings matter. And accuracy matters. Really glad to see the official word on "climate change deniers", for example. That's EXACTLY what they are and how they should be described. It's critically important, the way these things are described in the media. Lazy writing can be damaging and have serious repercussions.

Good habits are hard to break. I still write out the word for numbers from one to eleven. Even in text-messaging. I've been trying to change that in texts and tweets. Hard to do!

Welcome to DU, DDySiegs!

There are many amendments that are well-earned and make sense.

Your suggestion just happens to be true, too. NOTHING that comes out of this jackass's mouth can be trusted, or given any credibility. Because he's such a constant, pathological, congenital, deliberate, and unapologetic LIAR.

Welcome to DU, FlightRN!

Could be.

I just couldn't watch or listen. I've come to hate the sound of his voice. I hit the mute button and had to take care of some chores. I'll take your word for it.

Besides, my husband is a licensed pilot. I texted him about the subject of today's trump show and privatizing the FAA. He said he and most of his airplane buddies are against it. And he posed the question - privatized police department then? Privatized fire department? How 'bout privatized judges? How well would THAT work, if you hadn't paid your fees to that private entity on their time-table? As he put it: "if control towers and airport inspectors have principal responsibility to 'stockholders', what happens to safety?"

Welcome to DU, Sneederbunk!

Totally agree. I'd be ashamed if my kids did that. And I'd be horrified if they expressed that kind of thinking in any public forum (including the private ones). And if it meant their admissions to Harvard were rescinded, well, so be it. Actions have consequences. And a Harvard acceptance letter is a PRIVILEGE. NOT a right.

Maybe that's part of the problem?

As a mother, I am often sent back to the basic question "who the hell brought them up?"

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
