Not sure I can agree.
When she started calling police, and overdoing the drama, that was really rather disgusting.
She was some distance from him, grabbing her dog by the collar in an increasingly brutal way (looked like she was choking the poor little thing), and bending over and faking that she was being attacked at that moment, when her so-called attacker was not in any way physically close to her, Im sorry. I just lost all sympathy for her.
Disgraceful.
I'd certainly argue AGAINST that.
Take THAT, cupcake.
Maybe we should start referring to Jodyanne Jerk-me-off as "Cupcake."

SpaceX launch took over everything. I suspect there will be additional domestic-only updates as we get into evening. That's usually what Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell run.
Now we have to work like hell to MAKE SURE it stays low.
Above all else, DON'T stay silent!
Make noise! Make noise to your legislators, in Washington, and your state capitol, too, if possible.
Remember: If they think you don't care, THEY WON'T, EITHER!!!
Join a local Indivisible group! We actually DO stuff. And we don't let up. We are the frontline workers of American activism. Same thing for your local, county, or state Democratic Party. You'll broaden your own reach and exert influence that way! And on the smaller closer-to-home level, you can REALLY exert influence!
Highly recommended!
And while I've been complaining...

I have noticed one thing that's quite the indicator of where we are:
It took all morning, til the 10 o'clock hour, for MSNBC to start showing graphics.
ALL MORNING!
WTF?
SERIOUSLY????? And with the news all day yesterday talking about, and even headlining about, the coming milestone o 100-thousand deaths. All day they beat that one like a drum. And then when we woke up and tuned in this morning (granted, it was about 8am (don't know what happened earlier), we were first on CNN, but switched to MSNBC to check the numbers there, for consistency purposes. I settled on their numbers early-on, and those are the ones I've been tracking every day, except for a few days ago when the graphics were frozen, for some reason, on the "States with Most Cases" graphic - which really hasn't served me, here, at all. And there were no numbers. For almost two hours!
It might have been lazy control room or the show producer or the hour producer for those decisions. And okay, I've noticed the tapering off of some of the more intense coverage. Up til a few days ago, the graphics over on the right side of the screen rotated among FOUR: "Countries with Most Cases," "States with Most Cases," the map of the US, and "Total Confirmed Cases/Total Deaths." No longer! Now, it's just the fourth one - "Total Confirmed Cases/Total Deaths." But selfishly speaking, that's the one I used. I actually called in to complain on the NBC/MSNBC general phone number (and emailed the Maddow/Maddowblog people) because they were only showing the "States with Most Cases" graphic. The next day, they'd unfrozen the States graphic and put in the Cases/Deaths graphic instead. And then left it there. But that's okay, that's the one I use for these purposes here.
(BTW - I may write a separate OP about what I just discovered, by taking the time to register a complaint. It works! Rachel Maddow even said so - and I used it as one of the "Inspirational Openings" we run at the top of every new Call to Action email that my Indivisible group issues every week. "Pressure works." Two words. That's IT.)
But I digress. Sorry. What I've noticed is - that the intensity of the coverage has eased. They're talking other issues now, as well, instead of nonstop, round-the-clock 24/7 COVID coverage. That's indicative of a sense in the news biz that the lead story is not quite so strong a lead that it dominates the whole news day. And so you back off the intensity a little. You don't track the stats as closely - countries, states, etc. Maybe you feel like you don't need to press it that hard, that relentlessly.
The problem with that is - it sorta feeds into a false sense of security, a complacency, that it's over, we've seen the worst, it's behind us, everything's back to normal again.
Um... not so fast. It's NOT over. We HAVEN'T seen the worst. It's NOT behind us. And who knows if we'll EVER see "back to normal" aka the old pre-COVID "normal" again?
And the TV graphics and data people start backing off - AS WE APPROACH an ASTOUNDING MILESTONE. Yeah, I'm shouting. My apologies. But One Hundred Thousand deaths? Has any war or upheaval or superstorm done that? And in what? Less than THREE months?
Hey, all I can do is yowl about it...
Thanks for putting up with me!
