I took one look at him in 2016 and knew instinctively why trump picked him as a running mate.

There's ONE thing that strikes you immediately (which is all donald is interested in, anyway - the quick hit). The first time I saw him in that context the thought that exploded in my mind was "THAT is the WHITEST white guy I have EVER seen!" I would bet that deep-down, that's what trump thought, too. And realized that he could use a guy like Albino man, who was gonna send a visual cue to all his racist fans who were flocking to his rallies. He knew they were fed up with having to live with the idea of a black guy in the Oval Office who wasn't the janitor. He knew that's all they cared about. He understood the deep, visceral weakness and the silent not quite-buried prejudice - that nobody leaning toward that side of the aisle wanted to say out loud but still felt deeply on the inside.

pockets and bank accounts.

They've been at this for a long time.

After daddy sought bankruptcy protection for, I believe, the sixth time, no American banks wanted to take a risk on him anymore. So he went to Russia. And for awhile he could function under the radar because he was a private citizen and Manhattan gadabout and media playtoy. And nobody cared.

He was just that crazy New Yorker with the big mouth and bigger ego who was an amusing camera-hogging attention whore, a clown in an expensive business suit, who'd say anything and do anything to get more attention and tabloid headlines. He was someone whose marriages, divorces, hotels, and high-life you laughed at. He was the human version of candy you shouldn't eat before dinner or because it'd rot your teeth and/or make you fat, but you liked eating it anyway, even while you knew there was no nutritional value whatsoever. A cheap thrill. Empty calories. Just like the donald.
