Yeah. The difference in their demeanor as they approached and mounted the podium.

Putin had a visible spring in his step. Smiling, eyes up, facing forward, looking so ON IT. On top of the world. Fit as a fiddle and ready for love. Like one would if one was in a position of dominance.

trump on the other hand almost trudged up onto the platform. Eyes downcast, huffing and puffing with some visible discomfort, frowning. Looking every day of his 70+ years. Constipated, even. Like he’d just emerged from a rough and unproductive sit on the commode.

It was CLEAR who the Alpha was, of the two of them. And it sure wasn’t donald.

I watched that body language and all I had for a takeaway was a big “uh-oh...”

Compare that with the photo of the facedown between Putin and Obama. Putin looked like a penitent acolyte standing before his stern task master. And having to look UP at his adversary - one of the most basic positions suggesting submissiveness. It was clear in that photo who was dominant, who was the Alpha. And it wasn’t Putin.

Night and day difference.

Good stuff!

MANY of us won't.

He walks the walk. Doesn't just talk the talk.

That’s the difference right there.

Fuckwad. That's all I've got.

I hope he’s eaten alive by expensive, and effective punitive litigation for the rest of his miserable life.

The contrast is staggering.

Aha! That is MOST interesting.

And he’d have a perfect alibi.

There IS a point to be made here, though. It's cautionary.

This IS what the CONS will try to impose as a talking point. This is one of their VERY likely go-to bullshit “explanations” or persuasion lines or spun.

There’s value here in bringing it up - so we know what to look and listen for. It’s good to have a heightened awareness of this stuff. It’s a manipulation. Watch for it. And be ready with a slap-back. Or a fact-check. Or some other form of debunking the bulkshit they just tried to sell you.

It’s good to be aware of these subtle tricks and cheats. Forewarned is forearmed.

Ahhh, that old "needs more study" canard.

An old fallback for those denialists and obstructionists, like the ones who simply WON’T come around on the climate crisis.

Thanks for this, Dennis!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
