Turnout is EVERYTHING!

When Democrats vote, Democrats win. The numbers are on OUR side. All we have to do is make sure they’re motivated to SHOW UP TO VOTE!

That’s ALL we have to do.

Simply because there are more of us.

So do I!

It would certainly make me want to vote for her!

This is a good night! Hope it means more good news a year from now.

Fantastic!!

The main thing that bothers me about private insurance

is that you’re completely beholden to the employer. And if the company has (what it considers) a tough year and needs to cut costs, the employee health care plan often is first to get shaved.

And if there’s a change of ownership, good luck. The new boss will want to cut costs. They ALL do. That’s part of being in charge. I’ve never worked anywhere for anybody where the bean counters didn’t want to cut costs. Often it was to protect or offset other aspects of the company that were big money gobblers - like equipment upgrades, some big talent with a big contract and a big agent, or, of course, the executive “benefit package.” After all, somebody’s gotta pay for that golden parachute.

And if there’s a union involved, the first thing management will demand when it’s time for co Tracy renegotiations, will be concessions.

So cling to that employee benefit package while you can, I guess. It’s been my experience as a worker bee that most of ‘em never last. And for certain the “good parts” won’t last, either.

Here's hoping they ALL go down together.

I’d LOVE LOVE LOVE to see that-guy-whose-name-rhymes-with-VANITY publicly shamed and (dare I hope) destroyed!

I don’t like using his actual name. Because that’s all he lives for: his name in lights on every marquee and billboard, and spoken in public, preferably often and in hushed tones. As long as he can be a big-ass rich, famous, influential, admired, envied, and supremely well-connected celebrity, it’s all good.

So THAT’S what I yearn for and will do what I can to work toward.

So hard to understand why the GOP refuses to accept

what’s in ALL our DNA!

Unless we are of the indigenous tribes who were here first, we are ALL of immigrant stock.

And frankly, even Native Americans can say that. Robs ago, their ancestors migrated here from farther north, across the Bering Strait between the westernmost tip of Alaska and the easternmost tip of northeast Asia. In the winter months, the Bering Strait freezes and becomes a “land bridge”.

I looked it up:
Chukotka Peninsula in Russia and the Seward Peninsula in the U.S. state of Alaska. The bridge/tunnel would provide a connection linking North America and Eurasia. Wikipedia

We humans are migratory by nature. That’s how we spread from one area to another, across the globe. By land, sea, and ice. We are moving parts as individuals AND as a collective. We move. It’s in our nature. It’s in our blood. It’s in our bones. And our musculature. It’s not just WHO we are, it’s WHAT we are.

Hell, even trump is part of that. Even right this minute he’s migrating south - from New York to Florida. Fancy that.

Well, hell - our so-called Vice President started in hate radio.

Pence was a far-right talk show host at the beginning of his pursuit of more power, influence, and fame. EVERY egotist relishes a platform like that. Especially an egotist with an agenda that he sees his ambition as advancing.

Trumplodytes!? I like that, Wounded Bear! Clever!

I like that a lot!

About calimary

Female. Retired. Wife-Mom-Grandma. Approx. 30 years in broadcasting, at least 20 of those in news biz. Taurus. Loves chocolate - preferably without nuts or cocoanut. Animal lover. Rock-hound from pre-school age. Proud Democrat for life. Ardent environmentalist and pro-choicer. Hoping to use my skills set for the greater good. Still married to the same guy for 40+ years. Probably because he's a proud Democrat, too. Penmanship absolutely stinks, so I'm glad I'm a fast typist! I will always love Hillary and she will always be my President.
