Should Nancy and the Democratic Congress call for a "Censure" of Donald J Trump?

His comments cannot be accepted by our country. Paraphrasing, "If they're not happy here, then they can leave the country." Those are very divisive remarks. Those are beyond the pale.

In my opinion, this is the worst violation since his regime came into power. This is worse than Charlottesville.

Nancy should get a headcount on her caucus and if the numbers are there, then she should call for a "Censure" from the floor of the US House of Representatives. The time is right.

Not only is it an effort to divide our country along unacceptable bounds, there is also an abuse of power.

The "censure' would come with a warning. We will not accept abuse of power or division of our country to the point that it threatens our national security. The majority should make a statement with their votes.

Questions to ask Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee?

What are you trying to hide?

Why are you so afraid that the truth might come out?

Why are you trying so hard to prevent it?

Why do you think it is not a serious matter? Why do you act as if it is not serious?

Why did the Democrats agree to wait another week for Mr Mueller? Was that a strategic mistake?

The thin thread that holds our country together...

It is a thin thread of freedom. Unfortunately, it is being stretched to its limit.

Through all our flaws, our battles, our history, our people strove to do better. Many died in the process.

But, overall, we made progress. People enjoyed freedoms unlike any other time in our history. Freedom of expression was one of those freedoms. Equality and opportunity became more than just words.

However, there were those that were opposed to everyone having these freedoms. They threatened violence. They preached hatred. They mocked with nicknames. They marched with guns. They divided our nation. They became stronger as the force to counter them became weaker. They have made violence almost inevitable. It is very sad the direction our country has taken.

The fabric of our country has become frayed as the threads begin to unravel. If the threads break, we will have lost more than just a dream. We will have lost America.

Is the choice truly that stark? A democracy or a dictatorship?

Is the present economy for real or is it an illusion?

Is this truly the way that America wants to be seen? When once we were the beacon of the world, for the refuse and those seeking freedom. Do we truly want to surrender that?

The American people will make their choice, just like other nations around the world have made their choices.

The Democrats job is oversight of this present regime in the White House. As much as anything, this is why they were elected in the last election.

The people paid to have Robert Mueller investigate the Russians and whether there were any connections with this White House and they deserve to hear from Mr Mueller just what he found? Yes, he could put it in a book but most people do not read such a document. They need to hear it from the horse's mouth.

The people were expecting to hear from Mr Mueller this coming Wednesday but for some reason, it was postponed until a week later? One can't help but wonder if the people will ever hear from Mr Mueller? What are they trying to hide?

Beware those that are afraid of the truth. They are even afraid of the possibility of the truth.

But, right now, a lot of people are disappointed and they want answers.

Why did he bring up the subject of the "island"? Nobody was talking about an "island"?

It was his way of telling Epstein what he didn't want him to talk about. It was the "code" that Michael Cohen spoke about in his Congressional hearing.

I have never been to the island", he said, in his comments about Epstein.

"I threw him out of Mar-a-Lago", he said.

What he was really saying was, "Don't tell anyone that I was on your island." If anyone asks, "Tell them
we had a parting of ways about 2002".

Left unsaid, "You may need a favor (like a pardon) and I am the only person that can do it for you, do you understand?"

Fair?

North and South Dakota combined have a population of less than two million people. Combined, they have 4 Senators.

California has a population of about 40 million people. They have two Senators.

Wyoming has a population of about 600,000 people. They also have two Senators.

Is that fair?

Yet, Republicans tear their hair out worrying that some immigrants are going to move into "sanctuary cities" and give the Democrats more votes?

Memo to Robert Mueller:

If this delay in your testimony was due to pressure from Bill Barr or the White House, you have been played.

You give these scoundrels an inch and they will take a mile. But, you already know that.

If there was ever a time to steel your spine, this is it.

If you are truly a patriot, you will not play their game. You will put your country over these criminals and over your Party. If you are a true American, you will speak the truth and you will not compromise to fit the schedule of the people you know to be criminals and scum.

Your reputation was sterling. You were recommended highly by both Parties. Do not, in a moment of weakness, bow to the wishes and desires of Donald Trump and his band of co-conspirators. You know he tried to fire you. Just as he had the Congress threaten to impeach the weasel, Rod Rosenstein.

Stand up for the Constitution and for your country, Mr Mueller. Make the decision that you and history can be proud of.
