In Iowa, Entire Town Shows Up for Bernie Sanders Rally

MALCOM, IA (April 7, 2019) — Bernie Sanders held 6 campaign rallies in towns across Iowa this weekend. On Sunday, the Vermont Senator visited Malcom, a town of less than 300 people, and nearly every resident showed up.

According to reports, at least 230 townspeople came out — nearly 80% of the entire municipal population.

It wasn’t just Malcom, either.

Over 500 people attended Sanders’ Fairfield rally, more than the venue capacity could hold, so countless more watched from an overflow area. (Sanders briefly halted his Fairfield rally when a supporter began felling ill — the Senator intervened to get them medical help)

If photos from these events are any indicator, Iowa is seriously Feelin’ the Bern!
