Watching Joe in the pizza parlor on MSNBC. Amazing.

They’ve just got him on split screen with the pundits. He’s just talking to the gathering crowd. One on one. Interested in them all. Seeing them. Respecting them. It’s beautiful. I can’t believe how much I’ve missed simple humanity. If his message is good he’s going to win. WE’RE going to, as Brinkley said about his campaign message this morning, “throw da bum out!”

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Biden Posts 6-Point Bump Among Likely Democratic Voters Amid Campaign Launch

Any concerns that those stories may dampen his support with women and black women is not yet borne out by the data. If anything, Biden’s advantage over the field relies heavily on edges with those groups: Among women overall, Biden jumped 8 points in the last week..

https://morningconsult.com/2019/04/29/biden-posts-6-point-bump-among-likely-democratic-voters-amid-campaign-launch/

I'm guessing a lot of women felt like I did about it.

As I sit here penned in one room getting carpet and wood flooring it is so heartening to watch that warm, great man who was our VP for 8 good years.

What a refreshing message after listening to the hateful messages from Trump, McConnell and the do nothing Republican party for years.

Contrast him to Mitch who said he would be the Grim Reaper if they keep the Senate by refusing anything Democrats wanted to do. The evil pours out of men like that!

We need to clean house!

who literally charges people to interact with him versus the guy in the pizza parlor actually yelling “HEY!” as he recognizes people and talks about their memories together. As he tells a young musician how little musical talent he has. As he takes selfies with the young Latino men. As he black-handshakes the young black man. And not a single bit of it looks contrived.

This is what we are, America. This is greatness.

been able to secure the human rights of women. This is the election cycle in which candidates need to address that reality. If not now, when?

Leaning in to misogyny so that we can possibly roll back the latest tsunami of misogyny doesn't work. We are lie the Ancient Greek whose humanity was reduced to struggling to a boulder up hill, only to have it roll back down as he approaches the top-and the "gods" expects that he must do this over and over again.

I watch the vilification of Anita Hill with an 8 year old girl, whose eyes teared up as she asked me "Why are they believing the man and not the woman." That eight year old has now suffered through some of the same indignities I did.

It is this slow seepage of the message of inequality that so destroys us and victimizes, our children, and our grandchildren. Sociologists tell us that we are unlikely to reach a no-discrimination human status for well over 100 years.

Enough is enough. I do not want to have a beer with Joseph Biden. I want him to get up to speed now.
