Talked with 20 or so attendees of #SheThePeople2020 afterwards. Consensus was that @ewarren gave strongest performance. @KamalaHarris & @CoryBooker very well-received & @BetoORourke got some respect for working for support. @BernieSanders lost the room.

It was kind of like listing to the high school principal at an assembly. It seemed to me like he wasn't properly prepared for the room he was speaking in.

If he did, he either didn't take them seriously, or he forgot whatever they briefed him on.

Did he hire them for expertise or to just to get people off his back for historically surrounding himself with a small cadre of old white male advisors.

It’s a stunningly entitled delivery of a progressive message. He’s doing more harm to it than good I think.

to distract from his usual talking points seems to be the only place he is comfortable.

Having to listen to people and answer questions on topics he's not interested in, or informed about, then being called out by them when he tries to derail and get back to his memorized pitch, not so much.
