If anybody sweeps the first 3, they will likely get the nomination.

...but the main reason I'm for Biden is to beat Trump, not Sanders.

If we nominate a candidate who is weaker than Biden against Trump, we'll have to work all the harder, even though that Democrat may have a stronger ground game in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina in the Primary. Those three states are the most important states to win the nomination. I agree. Other than New Hampshire, they don't mean shit in the General.

However, my chief ambition in this election cycle is to beat Donald Trump. So, the 3 states I'm focused on are Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin in the General Election.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I'm not being flippant. The Russian interference and I assume the hacking attempts are still going on. We have to have a big enough lead so that Russian hacking can't flip the results in a few purple districts. And this time, it's Trump's DOJ & FBI who will be the watchdogs, which is not comforting to me.

The Russian trolls and media feeding frenzy over her emails, not to mention attacks for all sides, including Comey, brought her sizable lead to just 2 percentage points on Nov. 6, 2016. Being 2% ahead meant she won about 3 million more votes than Trump, but still lost the electoral college. Dems need to be ahead by a lot more than 2% so that the GOP can't steal it. That is how rigged the system is against us.

But those are good numbers for Biden.
