They are going in alphabetical order. For anyone not watching, Kamala Harris should be next. They are doing a dance break right now but it will be back on soon.

I am watching Kamala Harris and she is phenomenal! I am ecstatic because these women’s issues that are inspired by women of color are showcasing the issues and solutions that are very important to all women. I am thrilled that women of color are claiming their power!

That she sort of jumped around and stammered a lot. It may just be due to the format and how little time they have, but it did make her a little more difficult to follow. I do like her, though. I liked Cory Booker best of the first three.

It's such an important topic. Domestic workers are treated horribly in this country. I love hearing the audience sending her strength with their cheers. Sisterhood, live and in action!
I thought Senator Klobuchar's response was great, too. She was great, overall.

Beto is up, next!

He is a great candidate. I loved his response to the server from New Orleans. Full disclosure, I'm from Baton Rouge, so I am very partial to anyone from the south. Equal Rights Amendment Act, now!

His response to the exit question was spot on! He was very knowledgeable and was not "bothered" at all.

He's good. I like everything that he says. However, Julian Castro and Senator Harris are very bold, too. We truly have some wonderful candidates!

Edit: Sen. Warren is great, too. I did not want to leave her out.

But to see it at this point you would need to watch his live stream town halls. He really didn't have the time and opportunity to show that today due to time constraints. He talks about race in the same way when it's a crowd of mostly white voters, too, because he does not poll test. What he says is what he genuinely believes and means.

I'm not saying that others aren't good on race as well...only that Beto speaks about it in the most bold way I have ever heard in a candidate.

I think she's talking too much and going into too much depth.

I think she would do much better if she found a way to shorten her explanations.

Wed Apr 24, 2019, 05:24 PM
Apr 2019

1) Beto O'Rourke - great answers, very clear, easy to follow, charismatic
2) Elizabeth Warren - great answers, inspiring closing story, would be tied with Beto for me if she had not lost me with too long answers
3, 4 and 5) To me, these three were too close for me to pick an order, for different reasons...Kamala Harris, good points but her delivery was a little rough which made it difficult to follow at times. Cory Booker, some good points but for some reason I never remember what he says and Amy Klobuchar, I always forget that I kinda like her until I hear her talk.
6) Julian Castro - Nice guy, but really forgettable, can't remember anything he said except that they showed a photo of his brother instead of him.
7) Tulsi Gabbard - I forgot how much I don't care for her until the question about Russia/cold war.
8) Bernie Sanders - Why does he always sound so angry when he talks? Just reminded me why I always change the channel when he is on tv. I can't even with the anger and negative stuff. I need more positivity and hope.
