Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumI went to each website of the 20 democratic primary candidates.
I was looking for websites that were easy to navigate, organized with good pictures and good videos. I was also looking for candidates position on different issues and information about the candidates experience. I tried to look at each website as a voter who was being introduced to each candidate. Since there are 20 candidates so far, there are a lot of voters who have trouble keeping track.
I think Elizabeth Warren has the best website. It is nicely organized and easy to navigate with good pictures. I could find her stance on the issues quickly. I believe that Bernie Sanders has the second best website. John Delaney, Kamala Harris, Beto O'Rourke and Corey Booker also have good websites that are organized with nice pictures and videos. Pete Buttigieg was not as good as I was expecting. I would have liked more information on his political positions. Marianne Williamson, Tim Ryan, Eric Swalwell and Seth Moulton were fine. Julian Castro, Jay Inslee, Tulsi Gabbard, Andrew Yang, Mike Gravel and John Hickenlooper's website were okay but were kind of dull. Kirsten Gillibrand was good but the bright pink color was distracting. Amy Klobuchar's website did not have much information on it and could be improved a lot. I couldn't even find a website for Wayne Messam.
I will check the website of the 21st candidate Joe Biden after he announces.
This is just my feelings about the websites of the candidates not the candidates themselves.

Anyone who doubts the effectiveness of the internet should re-evaluate.

(3,275 posts)I don't think that there is anything wrong with looking at all the ways the candidates reach the voters.
One of the great things about the Obama/Biden campaign was the use of social media to reach more voters.

Nobody should announce without one ready and they should also have at least one full time staff member dedicated to social media outreach.
Anything less is political malpractice.
