Does anyone know why Beto wasn't on the CNN town hall last night?

I appreciated the opportunity to hear Amy Klobuchar, but Beto was well ahead of her in the polls and fundraising. (On the plus side, it did mean the candidates were majority women - a first)

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Well, I’m not going TV quarterback them. I had assumed it wasn’t offered.

He's hardly been home due to campaigning full time. He had also mentioned that his kids had games and one had a science fair project that he and his wife had to do, lol. He joked about that the other day how anyone who has kids know that the parents are the ones who end up doing those projects. My grandson is in 3rd grade and he speaks the truth, lol.

He is going to be at the She The People Forum tomorrow with 7 other candidates, though. There will be a link for streaming shortly before 1pm CST on She The People's social media.

I haven’t seen you on MSNBC recently,” a woman told O’Rourke as he took questions at a campaign event in Alexandria, Virginia, last week. “I haven’t seen you on TV. Other candidates have been on the airwaves morning, noon and night. And that’s of concern to me.”

She also offered a suggestion: “The primary is a race. At some point, you’re going to have to distinguish yourself from the other people running.”

O’Rourke responded by saying he preferred interacting with voters “eyeball to eyeball” rather than by doing TV, as evidenced by his dozens of events where he regularly takes questions from the audience and reporters alike. But he acknowledged “at some point, I may have to give in” to doing cable television.

For me? None of these Town Halls matter. I won't be watching these until November/December. That gets me past the State election this year, and puts me within six months of the actual primary. Most of my peers in electioneering and activism circles in NJ don't pay attention until after Super Tuesday.
