Mayor Pete repeats his point about the similarities between BS and DT fans

for those too defensive and/or obtuse to have understood it the first time.

Ro Khanna gets it wrong a second time.

Sanders and 45 do not have a monopoly on attracting those unsatisfied with the Washington establishment.

They are part of our coalition, they are part of our Democratic Underground community, and they should not have to put up with broad brush insults here, even if phrased as a question.

Sanders’ approach is different from Trump. I could get behind Bernie. I think his policy proposals share the same goals as most of the people running.

But then Ro comes along -- who, to some DUers’ horror that I had never heard of — and misrepresents what Pete said. Is Ro part of the new establishment?

Pete doesn't just need to be right, he needs to attract Bernie voters. Can he? That's what primaries are for. But this discussion so far does not bode well.

Calling people "stubborn" and worse is not a way to woo their votes.

It's primary season. You can attract voters or criticize them. You have chosen... poorly.

Let's hope ALL our candidates keep their doors a little more open through at least Super Tuesday.
