The reason I do not trash other people running for the Democratic ticket

is that I might have to vote for one of them if for some reason my choice does not make the cut.. That does not mean that if someone on other campaigns is doing something that is potentially destructive to my party that I will not call them out.. or if I have policy disagreements with another candidate that I will not speak up..

But trashing people now by some on another campaign or going after other candidates.. the person who heads up that campaign, the candidate themselves, needs to step in quickly and put their foot down on that.. we are first and foremost patriotic Americans , Democrats, and people who want the best for our country and our people running need to start talking to their people who are representing their campaign..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I will certainly call out the candidates who allow their surrogates to bash others though.

I sent out messages to people supporting other candidates telling them I appreciate them keeping us informed. The response back has been positive. I feel better, I hope they do as well

And it felt great.

And then... oh Mo. I thought, "really, Mo? are you going there?", and had to say something. Maybe that's the reaction surrogates want and I fed the fire.

I have strong opinions about one democratic candidate who advocated strongly for The iraq War which did much damage to our nation and the world. But I am reluctant to bring this up for fear of being negative to Democratic Party candidates. What is the standard?

It's a huge field, but they all look good to me.
I have my favorites, but will definitely vote for whoever gets the nomination.
This time, winning is everything.

This DU bubble is not the "real world" and people are politically savvy enough to have researched and made up their mind. Arguing or pointing things out here isn't going to change anyone's mind.

So, for me at least - it's a complete waste of time to stir shit, post "gotcha" articles, "argue" or "trash" democratic competitors here. Not to mention fanning the flames of division and hurt feelings etc.

I'll save my energy, donate and campaign door to door for my preferred candidate, and support the dem candidate nominee in 2020.
