How is Bernie polling among African Americans?

It seems like he is generally polling well, but I wonder if he somehow becomes the nominee will he be able to bring out the African American vote. What I call the “standing in the cold November rain” test. Will African Americans be willing to stand in the rain for hours to vote for him?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The poll is months old, but it's a major poll, so there's that.

So far...

Biden and Bernie are both popular

African Americans love Biden, 73-12.
A lot of Latinos don’t know who he is, but those who do like him 46-18.
White people like Biden, too, by a 52-38 margin. Biden even does okay with white men (49-43) and white voters with no college degree (44-41).

Biden does best with voters under 35 (60-21) but also does pretty well with old people (54-33).
Bernie Sanders is distinctly less popular than Biden at 44-42 and, accordingly, is less uniformly popular across demographic groups.

African Americans (55-26) and Latinos (52-26) like Bernie, but he’s slightly underwater (43-45) with whites, faring especially poorly with white men (40-51) and working-class whites (38-44).
Young people really like Sanders (57-29), but old people do not (40-45).

Here's the latest Rasmussen (conservative poller) presidential matchup, which is probably one reason he did a Fox News town hall.

Just the facts.

This half Latina loves Bernie but wishes he was much younger. Not so thrilled with Joe, doesn't make a difference that he is too old, too.

Many of the preconceived notions about most of our candidates seem to bypass fact entirely on the way to proving someone's confirmation bias. That's not just Sanders, it applies to all of them. It's important to keep that in mind.

I still can't say I know who or what DeLoitte is, or if you think this polling is skewed, but I'll keep a wary eye on posting anything from Morning Consult in the future. It was just the most recent comprehensive polling I was able to find in a short google session.

I'm doing ongoing research, but I suggest you take a look at the subthread above just for the sake of transparency. I'd say take the poll with a grain of salt for now, but the fact that it corroborates with the other polling I'm seeing is mildly comforting ATM.

But I'll not support him ever again (YES; he'll grudgingly have my vote if by some miracle he becomes the nominee)... I've got a laundry list of gripes about the way Sanders and his support circle have been acting ever since that '16 primary and none of them have been addressed (some of them have even gotten worse)
