Having switched from the Republican party to the Democratic party is nothing to be ashamed of. I was a Republican back in the day when republican stood for thoughtful progress and the Democratic Party was the George Wallace mob.
Now the Democratic Party is the party of FDR and Truman and the republican party is what we called the "Lunatic Fringe" in the late 1960's

(25,471 posts)Well, part of it was. Much of it clearly wasn't. He lost in the primaries on four separate occasions, three as a Democrat and one as an (I) trying to be a spoiler.

I am not sure the "rust belt states" are ready to vote for any woman for President. I look forward to the debates. I remain, undecided.
