Does Ohio have early voting for the primary? When did it start?

It appears that the governor of Ohio has closed the polls for election day, instead of postponing the election which would make the most sense. Is he trying to screw Biden.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

postponed. Like a month or two down the way would be any better. This Tuesday primary would have completely and totally ended the primary. Sanders knew this. After Sanders and his supporters were out there saying this we now have the Republican Gov going against the judges order to shut down the election. This is not good.

on the advice of medical professionals (schools, restaurants, etc. are closed), why should we put the health of poll workers and voters at risk for politics?

If Sanders were the front runner, I would feel the same way. I think he should suspend his campaign anyway. The Democratic voters have spoken, the last debate is done, it is time. We need to come together and fighting over whether to hold more primary elections is a symptom of our disunity.

There other people on the ballot for various local positions. What do you propose to do with them?

10. What is the mechanism for this?

DeWine can't legally cancel the primary or delay the primary. This was therefore not done legally as far as I can tell. So what would be the mechanism for changing the date?

What orders did Supreme Court upheld? Supreme court denied a legal challenge by a local candidate. So they didn't upheld anything.

4. Yes, Ohio has early voting (28 days) and they are trying to move the primary to June 2

But there is no easy mechanism for this---the legislature should have been the one to make the decision, but they are not in session. The courts were the first attempt, but a judge said it was bad precedent. Then they used the Dept of Health to over-ride the matter. It is still the plan to have the primary, just later.
It's a cluster, I agree---I'm a poll worker and have been whip-sawed around all evening and now I can't sleep. I got the word that I would be working at 9 pm and that I would NOT be working at 11 pm and I would have been getting up at 5:30 am.

They couldn't have seen CV-19 coming but there are other ways to screw us like closing 100s of polling sites and making changes to assigned polling places at the 11th hours.

7. Yes, OH has early voting.

But only one voting place per county, regardless of how big or small the county is.
So I was going to vote in my election place expecting no lines and fewer people than in one early voting location.
This virus was spreading for a while, and DeWine knew full well election was coming. Yet he didn't do anything until the day right before the election.
I have no idea what is going to happen now.
