Mayor Pete: To protect and defend the Constitution of the United States

I served overseas, at risk to my life, in the struggle against terrorism. But it can only be fully defeated if we have leaders at home who defuse its capacity to sow hate— hate against Islam or against any number of “others.”

I don’t know where “Mayor Pete” is going to end up in 2020.

But I do know that even if he isn’t on a ticket, he’s doing some great groundwork for the future. He has a great future ahead.
