I agree with others that COVID19 scared people

So that some who might not have voted (even some independents and R’s where states allow them in primaries) said, “this is as serious as a Bernie Sanders heart attack!”

Recent Dem primaries have coinciding with worsening Coronavirus outbreak and their view of Trump’s absolutely psychotic and damaging response to it.

Biden is a great man in his own right, but the fear of another 4 years of this has people flocking to him.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

But now all are scrambling to Biden the way investors are scrambling to safe harbors such as US dollars and Japanese Yen

When he dismissed Vindman...and his brother... and pardoned or commuted Milken, Kerik and Blagojevich, more people realized that Trump believed he was infallible and unaccountable and should be our dictator. The coronavirus crisis exposed his utter lack of empathy and honesty and his self-absorbed fixation on the stock market and his own re-election prospects. The election stopped being about building a better society and turned into a defensive fight to remove a clear and present danger to our democracy.

It will be interesting to see studied estimates eventually of how much COVID-19 affected turnout, though, both positively and negatively. Just how long are those lines going to be in November if the disease is surging then, and could they even be disallowed?

Just heard that Gov. Cuomo has ordered a 1-mile containment zone around New Rochelle.

But it is likely to be resurgent in Oct/Nov next year and with way more knowledge and advanced planning enabled.

Less vulnerable to election-week subversion by Russia and Repubs also.
