[From personal experience. Before an important hearing, with an important person, we privately met with Jackson to brief him, - and make sure he understood. Should have been easy as he spoke for black people, and the public interest. At the public testimony, Jackson
was 'unclear'. 'They' had gotten to him - for a price. His rationale to us, was he only gave them half a loaf - which was sort of true, but what probably not what they had paid for].

Jackson, still in the game, this high profile ad will give his side-business a lift.

Not sure I understand your post. Is that a quote from Jackson?

Bernie supported Jesse Jackson's presidential campaign in 1988, so there's a long history there.
