Unintentionally hilarious strategies for Sanders, from a Sanders supporter

with nearly 300K followers on Twitter.

Thread starts here, full text below:

Bernie must:
1) HAMMER electability. "Joe is Hillary 2.0. Hillary lost to Trump, Joe will too. I'm FDR. FDR won 4 times. I'm the safe option"
2) Don't say political revolution or dem socialist again. Say you're the moderate/ centrist. Polls show that. Biden is extreme.. (1/3)

..Bernie needs to win back the rural, older & suburban vote so you have to tailor a message to that crowd.
3)micro-target a message to each state on the issues that matters most. Michigan is trade, trade, trade. Florida is Social Security.
4) go tit-for-tat with... (2/3)

..the establishment. When they roll out an endorsement you roll out an endorsement. It doesn't matter if the name isn't as big. It's for narrative control & to blunt the media momentum which helped Biden on Super Tues.

Don't overthink it. These 4 steps and Bernie can win. (3/3)

You definitely DON'T want to "overthink" these. If you do, you'll be rolling on the floor laughing your ass off.

Anyway, it's an interesting view into this alternate reality where:
Biden is Hillary,
Sanders is FDR and the safe option,
Sanders' talk about revolution and socialism can be wished away so he can be relabeled a moderate/centrist with Biden the one who's extreme,
rolling out even trivial endorsements will blunt the media narrative about the tsunami of big-name Biden endorsements,
and microtargeting states will suddenly work because apparently this supporter thinks that never occurred to anyone in the Sanders campaign so far and hasn't yet been tried.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

coalition and get things done. He wasn't an ideologue or a purist. In fact he was nothing like Sanders at all.

That's not the way elections work. Someone should explain democracy to the Bernie Sanders campaign people.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
