New debate rules are out: Candidates need 20% of delegates to qualify

Alex Seitz-Wald ✔@aseitzwald

Just in: The DNC announced the threshold for the next debate (March 15) and it'd be virtually impossible for Tulsi Gabbard to make it.

Candidates will need 20% of all delegates awarded thus far - she has (delegate, <1%).

Joe Biden vs. Bernie Sanders, alone.

Keeping her out can cause more harm than letting her in, and this was
obviously done to keep it Biden vs. Sanders.

BS is getting desperate and going all scorched earth. He should get ignored when he's acting like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Debates just give him more chances to harm the Democratic party.

...and I would also say it's possible the Sanders campaign will not make it to the March 15th debate. If he gets beat in places like Washington and Michigan on March 10th, hopefully he will accept the inevitable and drop out on March 11th.
