in their offices and in the House chamber, I suppose he can get away with his pretty, decorated AR-15. Nobody's going to go and take it from him. He's an idiot, of course, but there's no law against a House rep being an idiot, I suppose.

No mention of their offices. He might be immune from arrest, by virtue of that "attendance" part, but not sure his gun would be. Guess it depends on whether or not D.C. wants to test it. They might have more pressing matters than a wall decoration.

the logic is that they are always going to or returning from their house's chambers. If they are at their office in DC, clearly they are on the job, apparently.

Bottom line is that law enforcement leaves them alone. Period. He's going to get to leave his AR-15 on the wall. Everyone knows it's there, and there it remains.
