Michgan's first AA lieutenant governor, who just endorsed Biden, had voted for Sanders in 2016

Tweet from Biden press secretary TJ Ducklo:

"The endorsement of Gilchrist, Michigan’s first African-American lieutenant governor, is significant, as the former President Barack Obama organizer voted for Sanders in the 2016 primary."

He has quite an impressive resume. Could he be shooting for Ron Johnson's Senate seat? CORRECTION. Brain freeze he is not from Wisconsin.

Hopefully he does find his way onto the national stage. Computer Engineering and CS Bachelor's from Michigan is nothing to sneeze at (not to mention the Masters and his work on campaign IT). I firmly believe we need more engineers and scientists in government.

Michigan's Senator Gary Peters is up for re-election, this year. Debbie Stabenow was re-elected in 2018.

John James, who ran against Stabenow, is now running against Peters. Hopefully he will be disappointed, again.

I started looking for possible Wisconsin VPs candidates and then didn't circle back when I went to Michigan.

Thanks for the correction. I will update my post.
