This isn't even a matter of "not checking the math" so much as failing to ask the key question after any kind of computation, "Does this make sense?"

No, there is no way to spend the equivalent of $1M per person on anything without that having an unfathomable economic impact.

That's really sad.

My basic math just guessing is that Bloomberg's half a billion in spending would barely give each American enough for one Starbucks coffee?

the next segment. Math geniuses need not gloat. I'm amazed by the people who need to point out the mistakes (humanity) others make in order to feel good about themselves. It's like saying, "OMG I knew this and he/she didn't". Ok then . I'm not referencing this OP but just a general observation.
