preferred candidates were dropping out. I voted in January via overseas CA ballot for Pete, who went on to win IA and tied for 1st in NH. Biden was at his nadir back then.

much more than they've seen before, waited until very late before deciding who to vote for. If those people turned in their already filled out ballots into the polls in person instead of mailing them earlier, Biden will pick up votes from Pete's, Amy's and Tom's supporters.
