My switch to Biden and some advice for his staff.

Sadly my candidate is now out.
But I’m still very proud of Warren and think she was classy until the end.

As for my choice between Biden and Bernie.
I voted for Bernie in the 2016 primary and Hillary in the general.
I consider myself to be a far left progressive.
But a pragmatic one.

I’m pretty much aligned with Bernie on policy.
But I don’t like his stagecraft.
He yells and waves his arms too much when a calmer demeanor would be better suited.
He is uncompromising and doesn’t have many legislative accomplishments.
Biden voted for the Iraq war and has made other mistakes.
But he led on gay marriage and women’s issues.
His heart is in the right place and his personality is warm and likable.

So I’m now on the Joe train.
But, please Biden staff, keep him ON SCRIPT AND ON TELEPROMPTER.
He doesn’t need to get caught up rambling and switching subjects midstream when off script.
He should have short rallies where others also speak endorsing him and introducing him.
Only do one on one media interviews with “friendly” media. Not the gotcha types.
Smile more. He has a great smile.
Use Jill more. People love her.
Be the happy warrior. Let Bernie and Trump be the angry ones.
Be lovable Uncle Joe.
If so, you’ve got this.
Go Joe!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

"That's old news" won't cut it for someone hearing a soundbite or learning about his positions on the Iraq war, bankruptcy, and Anita Hill for the first time... (to name just a few)

They are the reason he is my fifth choice.

Anita hill? Trump payed porn stars. Pussy grabber. Etc.

Bankruptcy? Trump loves it. Been bankrupt four times. Currently trying to bankrupt the country both fiscally and morally.

Senility? Trump can’t even read. Has seizures where his neck snaps and he loses his thoughts. Is the least “healthy” President ever.

Iraq war? Trump wants to start a new war with Iran. But loves dictators, and committing war crimes by taking oil reserves of other countries.

Trump has zero credibility. On anything.

It will be a little ad on facebook, probably paid for by Russians, and designed to depress the vote in a specific demographic in a specific geographic region.

I actually think the ads will look like Bernie's ads, just without Bernie:

It's a verbal crutch.

And practice, practice for the corruption mudslinging.

Practice dammit, so the response is always calm, cool and collected.

Study Hillary.

In a drinking game.
I’ve never liked that word.
Almost comes off as....”come on, stupid, here’s what I’ve been telling you”....he uses it as a transition... but he needs something else....or better yet...just speak in short simple sentences.

Short powerful responses. I particularly like the idea of rallies loaded with surrogates. Biden doesn't need to have lengthy speaking requirements other than the acceptance speech and the debates.

I think 1-on-1 debates with Sanders would be excellent preparation. It would probably allow Biden's handlers to understand the need for brevity and to avoid those rambling impromptu answers.

Also don't close your eyes while trying to remember something. It doesn't come across well.
