I am still in shock. Beautifully choreographed. Everyone in sync in one voice said without a shadow of a doubt that we support the Democratic Party and we are here to deny tRump another term. That is how we voted. One candidate after another dropped out after Tuesday, no pause they immediately said in one voice they stood with the front runner. Those that left earlier, Beto and Castro did the same.
All these candidates were in Selma on Bloody Sunday to march in solidarity for POC, our base. Selma. 55 years ago was all about voting rights. They won those rights and still are fighting for them every day. These are the people we should be fighting for.
I am sorry. I have no clue why two candidates sat it out.
We are indeed having a revolution and I am proud to be part of it.
Footnote.
My candidate was Warren. I cried when she spoke this morning. I am going to miss her on the trail yet will watch my Senator do her thing in the Senate. I had a choice, I voted with my head and not for Warren who was my heart. We absolutely need to win this.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(279 posts)Biden is revolutionary? Interesting perspective. A woman president would have been revolutionary, in my opinion.

(279 posts)I actually started on DU during the 2000 debacle and didnt post (or rarely posted) for years. Im not sure why my profile says 2004. Changed email or I got dropped? I just re-read your post. I guess Im not feeling the unity love after what happened to EW with these two front runners and their supporters.

I voted for the candidate that in MHO will defeat tRump and unite us all. I want unity as does my Senator. Sanders, IMHO wants division. It is what he does.
