And since Iowa has not yet had it's state convention and Pete and Amy dropped out, Biden may still be able to take Iowa, depending on how that shakes out. The total of the three far exceeds that of anyone else in that race.
In any case, the dynamics of this race are unique, so all precedents are out the door
