Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumWho will the russians pay to run a 3rd party campaign?
We know this is what they did last time, Jill Stein.
I know who I think it is but...cant say.
We do know why they will do this, right? We do know there is a group of voters this might appeal to, right?

(9,992 posts)Far beyond her influence, or campaign spending. This is troubling, as WMUR are complete whores for political ad's, PARTICULARLY "conservative" ones. Has Ms. Gabbard already been getting "push"?

(7,772 posts)I have been wondering if Hillary, with her connections, had some inside info.
At the time, it made no sense to single out Tulsi.
Also, she had an out-sized (and continuing) 'paid' presence here in Iowa. Lots of large signs, billboards, guys from the day-labor centers holding signs on the streets during rush hour.
Gotta wonder a bit.

(1,327 posts)needs to go with Warren as VP. She's probably the most palatable choice for the "group of voters" who might feel cast out and like they have no reason to vote blue if their candidate is not the nominee.
I understand the argument for a POC. However Biden already does well with AA voters. The larger problem, I think, is going to be not losing progressives, particularly Sanders supporters, in droves. We can say they don't matter and who cares, and let them defect, and young people don't vote anyway, and all that, but if we lose all those votes it won't be good.

(945 posts)It will not be that overt. If there is a third party contender that enables a 2nd Trump term, they instantly become the most hated person in America (and probably the world). I don't see anyone signing up to do that unless Putin offers them asylum in Russia beforehand.

(945 posts)Democratic voters have had to been in a coma for the last few years to NOT know that my preferred candidate (lol) is a Putin/Assad/Modi stooge. She mostly appeals to ALT-RIGHT voters
