Democratic Primaries

Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
Joe is going to make it much easier on down ballot candidates.
It's much easier for a Democrat to run to the left of the nominee and say he or she isn't going far enough than to run to the right of the nominee and say he or she has gone too far.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

OP
The executive branch imo is infinitely more important but losing all three branches would be tragic.

(2,531 posts)1. Exactly. For me those down ballot races across America are more important
than the presidency.

that Biden can help deliver, that I think Sanders cannot. It is crucial that we hold the House and win the Senate.

(99,711 posts)4. At worst he does no harm. Think about it.
Down ballot candidates can campaign as they want. What is easier to do ? Saying my candidate has good ideas but I will vote to push him or her further or my candidate is too far out there and I'll vote to curb him or her?
