We are effectively down to a two person race...

Can I assume that Sanders supporters believe that his support will now shoot up since his 2016 support is no longer divided between lots of candidates (their go-to argument to explain his lower numbers this year)?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Now that she appears to be dropping out, they're saying that she didn't drop out soon enough.

It's always someone else's fault. They all wanted Bloomberg to drop out because he was a billionaire. Now that he dropped out, they're complaining that he dropped out as part of some conspiracy. They claim Pete and Amy were paid off, but I don't suppose that argument will work with Bloomberg.

I backed Bernie in 2016, and am not doing it this time around. I've definitely soured on him over time.

People's opinions and perceptions change.

Joe Biden's favorability polling numbers are a bit better than Clinton's were in 2016. Having a more likeable alternative could have in impact as well
