Klobuchar as VP?

I think a woman would be a very smart move as VP and I think Klobuchar would appeal to voters in the south and midwest. The swing states are what is really important and I think Biden/Klobuchar would be a very strong ticket in those states.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I don't know where this nonsense comes from...crushing an incumbent in the swing states.

It doesn't carry one speck of reality.

If we win those states it will be by a whisker.

Red states like Texas and Arizona are not in play. Those states have more than 40% conservatives. Turnout doesn't matter in a situation like that. Preference doesn't matter. The ideological split dictates everything.

We can't be moronic like 2016 and chase states with 41-44% conservatives.

I was talking to a bunch of female friends and they said Amy is the last person they would want to represent women on the democratic ticket. Their biggest concern was that she has significant trouble regulating her emotions-there is documented evidence (and her performance in debates) that show that she is an angry person. This does not bode well when Trump will be constantly poking the dem ticket with a big stick. Once attacked she turns into the worst negative stereotype of a woman: A "shrill harpy". They thought this is not a big liability but would definitely set back some progress on the gender equality front in red states like ours.

P.S: Her reaction to Pete in the debates has me thinking that she is also fighting against some deeply internalized homophobia as well.

She and Warren suffer tremendously from gender.
The biggest problem for both had more to do with the huge early field.
They both got over shadowed early. That help Warren at the start but ended up hurting later because they both need to be directly compared to Bernie and Biden early.

I will tell you this much I would be looking forward to a Warren/Klobuchar Debate coming up a lot more then the Biden/Sanders debat we are going to get.

I doubt she would want that.

To win Wisconsin, and the Mid West, Amy would be a great asset.

She did so much - besides being nice, smart, savvy and incredibly proactive! She was just the best! I'm sure we'll continue to hear from her, but she has no interest in seeking public office.

Harris doesn’t have as much record of things done as Amy. This campaign would be about unity and getting things done.

While everyone looks at Harris and Abrams and all of the other names, people are overlooking a couple of key dynamics Amy brings.

First she is obviously totally compatible with Joe and able to naturally shift focus to him. When needed and as she proved in the September Debate come naturally to his defense.

While I know most people will discount this but the one place Amy is well known and respected is in Rural America. I don't know if people understand how much disquiet about Trump there actually is in farm country. I'm not saying she would win rural areas but what I will say is she will blunt a bit of Trump's advantage and so put more states in play then you would think right away.

But probably the most important thing that she would bring is that actual ease she and Bernie show together. Bernie actually worked as hard as he was asked to do for Hillary. But it never felt natural and is so forgotten. That hurt Bernie this cycle. But the Bernie Amy comedy routine we saw in the debates would translate well on the road. That may very well be the Key to a landslide.

She came into her own after New Hampshire. She's ready to lead from the get go.

I'm not as confident in Stacy Abrams. She lacks experience compared to Amy.

You can't have it all. The person picked for VP has got to be ready to take over and Amy has the credentials.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
